After staying in tiny rooms for most of my holiday, it was refreshing to arrive at a hotel with large rooms! It’s an old building with rooms named after famous actors but the rooms are also clean & we were greeted very warmly by the front desk. The location is great: within walking distance to the trams & buses, grocery stores & laundromat. Note the tram services don’t appear in Google maps so plan your commute via the https://www.reseau-stas.fr site. The tram runs direct to the city & regional train station.

The price was obviously not great because of the rugby World Cup but I can’t really fault anything else. If I had to nitpick, I’d say there should be a door on the shower/bathtub to stop splashing on the floor.

Nice hotel, clean and attractive. Excellent, secure garage parking for our motorcycle. Kelly the receptionist was friendly, efficient and helpful. Breakfast was good and varied, with savoury options. Well located, in a nice tree lined street.

The hotel is very quaint and charming. The breakfast room is large and the food was of high quality. The location is convenient for those traveling by car (or motorcycle) and there is a large covered parking garage at the rear of the hotel which means parking isn't a problem (large SUVs may struggle).

Comfortable, quiet room, and sufficiently spacious for my purposes (solo traveler). A decent breakfast was provided for little additional cost. Ample free parking on the road out the front of the hotel, and underground parking provided by the hotel for 8€ per night. Only a couple of blocks away from tram and bus stops for easy access to the city center. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I was surprised to wake up one morning to find that a group of ants had conglomerated beneath the soles of my sneakers that I had left beside the desk in the room the night before. This may be indicative of larger cleanliness problem at the hotel, but may also just have been an irregular occurrence, as I did not have any other issues related to cleanliness during my stay.

My room was in the basement no aircon extremely hot. The bed is small.

Comfortable bed, good parking downstairs in the garage, staff is welcoming.

The breakfast was very modest (however Croissants were great). I was surprised that breakfast reviews are so good for this hotel. We had a walk to the city center and had the impression that it’s very criminal environment around (even in the city center). We ordered dinner in the hotel and the food was not good for 15€ per dish, it looked like airplane frozen food.. In the end when you pay parking + breakfast, it’s not the cheapest option. Very old bathroom facilities.

Better not to say

They asked my newly wedded friend's guests to leave the hotel and look for an alternative accommodation because they don't operate on Sunday.So sudden and unfortunate.
