We stayed in the Hibiscus Suite which was full of character and very comfortable. It consisted of a separate sitting area with lovely fireplace, huge bedroom with a massive bed, and a big shower room. It was very warm. The dining room was just across the hallway. We arrived a little early and were served with coffee and cake which was much appreciated. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. We wholeheartedly recommend this property and will definitely be back

Everything surpassed our expectations

great place. Just off the highway, so perfect for an overnight stay! An old building containing a number of rooms very nicely decorated. Large room and good bathroom. There were even another rooom upstairs perfect for families. `Our room had a conservatory and a space outside with lounge chairs. The owners also offer a Table d'hote with a fixed delicious (and quite cheap 20 euros) dinner! We had it outside in a soft evening in the lovely garden of the property. The breakfast is continental including fresh bread and pains au chocolat. WE also had a welcome drink.

The bed is wide, fresh, clean and welcoming but they are a bit short in length. No kettle in the room (but this is common in France).

We loved our stay at Domaine de Pelouaille., we had a wonderful welcome and our room was so very comfortable. A very convenient location not far from the autoroute, quiet and such a beautiful house. Breakfast in the garden was delightful with the most delicious and enormous croissants. We look forward to staying there again, thank you so much.

We loved everything

The house is lovely. The family room was amazing (almost like an apartment), and the location was really convenient a few minutes drive from St Jean d'Angely. Breakfast was amazing and included on the price. The hosts were super welcoming and friendly. We'll come back.

Everything was perfect.

We had an excellent stay at Domaine de Pelouaille and was just what we needed after a long drive. Florence was very welcoming and the breakfast was superb. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and comfortable and we enjoyed siting in the garden in the evening. Would highly recommend.

It's a quiet little haven out in the fields where you can really come to rest up. The hosts are nice, breakfast is great, and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped.

Take into account that when you book the 2-bedroom for just 2 people (instead of 3 or 4), only one bed will be prepared.

Very nice stay in an old property with a lot of ambience. The Dutch/French owners are very friendly and helpful and know the area very well. They can advice e.g. were you can get a quick bite. The breakfast was very nice and freshly prepared/cooked. The location, close to the highway is also very good when you are travelling

Florence and Hans are fabulous hosts and make you feel very welcome at their beautiful chambre d'hotes. The fact that it is dog friendly and just a short detour off the A10 through France also makes this an exceptional stopover. We will be back

It was such a beautiful place and we had an amazing nights sleep-the beds were really comfy. The owners were lovely and the breakfast was really nice. We will definarely stay again in the future

Lovely one night stay as we travelled from Spain to the the North of France. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Spoke excellent English as our French isn't great. Lovely breakfast included in the price.
