THE DEMOUNTABLE HOUSE BY JEAN PROUVÉ 6 X 20 feet, 1944 Double King Room A demountable house, 6 x 20 ft, 1944 by architect and designer Jean Prouvé (1901-1984), has been adapted into a bedroom with furniture signed Prouvé, while respecting its original structure. Attached to the house, a bathroom in the spirit of the original design was designed by architect Charles Zana. Please note that the shower room is located outside the bedroom and requires a short walk through the garden to access it. A unique experience for lovers of 1950s architecture and design. Spending a night in the Prouvé house of Fondation CAB is a real experience and an incomparable leap into the past. As the road is not far away, we have planned a pair of earplugs for sensitive ears.
