Lovely staff, beautiful location. We had a terrace room which has loungers outside the patio doors. Vineyards surround the hotel with lovely walks for our dog. Keep the dogs out of the “lake”! Restaurant was a separate building and the €40 menu was excellent. They kindly let us start are bottle of wine while lounging outside our room and then take the bottle to finish at dinner. We were at the start of a 2000 km journey and we couldn’t drink too much. Great food, lovely local wine, dog welcome in the restaurant. Breakfast was in the main building. Again dog welcome and lovely breakfast.

The bed was very comfortable but the rooms, shower room and toilet were a little on the small side. You can’t rebuild the hotel but maybe bring an electricity socket into the shower room? And perhaps a heated towel rail? You have wiring in the ceiling. Definitely NOT a dealbreaker however.

The room was lovely and comfortable, it was nice that it had a balcony, we even were able to enjoy this at night. The coffee machine was a welcome addition, we truly appreciated it. The location was stunning, we didn't truly appreciate it until the morning when the sun started coming up and we were able to explore. The beds were truly comfortable, and it had a lovely bath which was appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very nice, the breakfast room itself was fabulous with stunning views.

The room size was pretty small for the price when compared to other accommodation that we stayed in with a similar location. The breakfast seemed a little expensive (mostly we paid around €12 for breakfast in other locations, or it was included) but was definitely still worth having.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful view from our lovely, comfortable and well appointed room. Air conditioning was great in the hot weather during our stay. The swimming pool also helped us to cool off after a hot journey! Great parking facilities for our motorcycle. Idyllic restaurant, al fresco. Excellent quality food at breakfast and dinner. The hotel is set in the most beautiful surroundings, which include a vineyard and magnificent old trees - all adding to the peaceful ambiance.

Although we very much enjoyed the high quality evening meals at the restaurant, we would have liked an option for a lighter meal on one of the two evenings. (Gourmet level cuisine is great, but perhaps not every night!)

There are no pavements on the roads, so it's impossible to walk anywhere, über rarely picks up in this area for short distances, and Taxis will charge for the journey from Bordeaux centre to the hotel, adding €30 to any taxi trip. You need a car to make it economical, or go in to town via über for €35 per trip.

Room was cosy. Perhaps a bit too small if you're up for a longer stay, but it was well equipped. The breakfast was nice and if the weather is nice you can sit outside and enjoy the vineyard view which is superb in the morning. The staff is super friendly and will do everything that is required to make you enjoy your stay as much as possible. Most rooms have a bath. You don't find that anymore in most hotels. That was nice to enjoy after a long day shopping on Bordeaux.

For me the bed was too hard, but that's a personal choice of course.

We were upgraded to a very comfortable room with an ensuite, which overlooked the pool and fields of grapevines. Beautiful. Breakfast was very enjoyable.

No complaints. We would have loved to have had a meal in your restaurant, however that option is not available on Sunday evenings. We were lucky to be able to enjoy a cheeseboard and some dips with our wine at sunset and mingle with some of the other guests.

The staff are really helpful and accommodating. Nothing is too much for them and they do it with a smile. The rooms are clean and the whole hotel smells fresh. We spent some time next to the pool which was clean and well maintained and received poolside service. The setting is amazing with views of the vineyards and only a 20 minute drive to Bordeaux. Excellent value for money in this price bracket.

The rooms are small. But this was not an issue as this is what we expected given the price. Also the walls are quite thin so it could get noisy if the hotel is busy.

Restaurant is really excellent but it would have been good to have a simple menu for our 2nd nights stay or be able to get snacks of some sort. This is a hopefully a helpful comment as we enjoyed our stay and we planned ahead and ate out. We would have eaten at the property if there had been an alternative.

The place is really nice. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Also the restaurant is really good.

We had an apero and they didn’t serve cocktails because the machine was broken. I think they can easily hire a barman/person which makes cocktails instead of having a machine. Also the quality of the plates we had during the apero was not so good, compared to the dinner which was very good.

The restaurant food was amazing, really recommend it. The waiting staff were funny as they had no idea who ordered what and popped from table to table asking. The service was slow but that suited us the meal and the wine ran from 7:30-11! The Chateau's own wine was also very good. All the staff were really helpful and attentive.

The rooms are a lot smaller than you might think but very comfortable. When you think of a chateau you have an idea of a castle/palace. This is not either so the the definition of a chateau needs looking at. Would definitely stay again though,
