Very pleasant place, great staff, wonderful cuisine - rich and fresh breakfast, delicious dinner and all with very kind service. The accommodation offers a pleasantly heated swimming pool, bike rental including a route suggestion and ending with local wine tasting. We also appreciated the separate bathroom and toilet :-) Thank you for the extraordinary experience :-D
The only thing we missed ware windows and therefore the possibility of safe ventilation during the night.

Room was very clean and spacious. The staff were lovely and we ate at the restaurant - the food was really good and the desserts were amazing (congratulations to the assistant pastry chef again!)
Not a criticism, just a note: we have previously stayed in this hotel in a Comfort room, which is in the new part of the building, but for this stay we upgraded to the Superior Suite which is in the older part. Whilst it is a lovely room, I would say that the rooms in the newer part are quieter and they have (if on the ground floor) a little seating area outside, which was a really nice touch. Note it also only has a bath and no shower.

Considering the reviews we booked this venue through Booking .com. A great retreat to spend some time as a couple. Great swimming pool to excercize and loose some calories of the very fine kitchen during lunch. Menu for diner remains the same so second night you might want to go to Saint Emillion. A big warning for Booking users; only book the first night. During breakfast we were offerend a second night for 1/2 price. We already booked the day before for 2 nights. We tried to come to an agreement with Chateau Fage, but ran into French arrogance and stubborness. Unfortunately we had to escalate with Booking .com to match the price.
Chateau Fage hates if you use Booking as a tool. Special offerings only count for direct clients.

Staff were lovely, the hotel is beautiful inside and out and breakfast was great. There are lots of little thoughtful touches like water and croissants in reception to help yourself to and cookies in your room. I'd stay here again.
The restaurant was closed (Sunday night), which was a shame. Staff were helpful in booking us a table at a nearby restaurant and various taxis though, so we did eat! The rooms weren't all ready at the stated check-in time (3pm), but the reception was nice enough to wait in. It's just a shame as with such a late check-in time anyway it would be good to get in right away and make the most of your stay.

Beautiful château, great location overlooking private vineyards and the rolling French countryside. Hotel felt new and was spotlessly clean and the staff were good.
Restaurant food was a huge disappointment. Having informed the hotel reception via email in advance that there was a vegetarian in the party, they were served a bowl of steamed vegetables for dinner. Not very creative at all for a decent chef! The sauce for the tuna fish tasted like a meat gravy and didn’t match well at all! However, the serving staff were great and did their best to make amends by bringing a complimentary cheese course.

Property is gorgeous. Secluded from the hustle and vustle of Bordeaux and about a half hour away from center of Bordeaux. The restaurant is above average and the estate wine is very drinkable. The rooms were not designed well and a good size room did not have the proper configuration for a quality 4 Star hotel. In addition several rooms face into a courtyard where people congregate durinf the day and night. Curtains must be shut at all times for privacy and defeats the purpose of being in a vineyard setting. Staff tries hard to please and restaurant staff was accommodating. Overall it was a good stay but there is room for improvement.

A lovely chateau in the middle of the countryside (lovely views of vineyards). The room was comfortable and very clean. Walking distance to the nearest village with restaurant, small supermarket, bakery, etc. Welcome drink of their own wine was a very nice touch. Free parking was good too.
Only thing would be that the coffee provided in the rooms wasn't particularly great (Nespresso machine, but not Nespresso pods).

It is an amazing restoration of a working wine producing chateau. You can see the old, but everywhere is very modern and so so tastefully done. Beautiful pool overlooking the vineyard. Best air conditioning we had on our trip, which with 36 degree heat was a god send.
Nothing, all was perfect

A fantastic property not far from St Emilion. Beautifully restored, with stunning areas for relaxing. Most of all, Tiffany - who ensured our little dog Rolo, was welcomed just as well as we were, is a credit to the hospitality industry and provided the highest level of friendly service we have experienced throughout our tour of France. Pierre from the restaurant team was also a pleasure to meet, and makes a fantastic Irish Coffee :) Thank you to you both for making our experience exceptional!
Having to leave!

This property is amazing and would highly recommend. It is very comfortable, luxurious in feel and service with a very warm family-business style feel. Food is excellent and the staff were very attentive and helpful.
Nothing. It’s perfection.
