The location was good. It was easy to reach by car and leave it in a parking garage close by. Shops, restaurants, attractions are within walking distance. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff with friendly, esp. Gabrielle at the front desk. She provided us with a map and recommendations on where to eat and what to do. The breakfast (buffet style) was really excellent: great variety, good quality, clean and fresh.

The hotel is ageing and would benefit from new carpets and a new coat of paint.

The room was lovely, comfortable and pleasant. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The tram is right around the corner from the hotel if you are coming straight from the airport. Don't take a taxi, just get on the tram. It's around 35min (13 short stops)

It was hot in the lobby area. Also, there are several Mercure hotels in Bordeaux so if you are using Google maps for directions make sure you have the right address cause there are two in the center.

The staff was very accommodating. They spoke English with no hesitation or condescension. Very helpful staff. The hotel is one of a few large concrete bunker like buildings in the neighborhood. But, once you walk a couple of blocks, you’re in old Bordeaux. We walked easily to many of the sights on the way to the river. We even walked to the Cite du Vin and back. Tram to airport is a block away. 1.90 euro. Make sure you get on the tram that says “aeroport”.

Concrete appearance. Maybe a little overpriced for a basic, but functional, room.

Room & bathroom were good size & clean. Safe in room & small fridge ( have to ask to have it turned on!) Pay parking in 24/7 multi storey opposite hotel. Staff helpful & spoke English alongside our attempts at French.

Reception/bar area could get busy when coach parties arrived. Card deposit required if putting drinks on room(obviously) but please, please ask for itemized printout before payment on checkout ( I was expecting to receive it as that's normal practice) as I'm now in dispute.

I liked the large foyer area with room to sit and the bar. Bathroom large and with a good shower and bath. Toiletries lovely too. 10 mins walk to a nice area of Bordeaux.

The location is quite grim, the hotel surrounded by a seventies concrete jungle. Beds had plastic sheet mattress protectors on them which got hot at night. Was surprised that on Easter Sunday, the breakfast closed promptly at 10am.

Reception, bar and restaurant staff were all very efficient and friendly. Everyone spoke excellent English too!

It was a great, central location, but that meant there were foul City smells outside, very close to the hotel. We saw rats running in the street, plus homeless people just outside on the next street.

Handy parking right next to the hotel in a secure car park (note an additional fee for this). Good value for money and nice hotel bar that we had a drink in one evening. The staff were very friendly and full of recommendations of where to visit in Bordeaux. There was a fitness centre which we didn't visit but a nice addition for some.

A little distance from Bordeaux city centre and a good 20 minute walk (at a good pace) to get to the heart of the city and one of the routes did seem a bit sketchy however the other route out of the hotel (as recommended by their staff) was a lot friendlier.

Nice bar. Professional Staff. Nice room. Good TV. Excellent Internet. Well air conditioned. Good late check out option.

An unaffordable breakfast, had to go to the Starbucks round the corner. The shower was very poor, changing temperature at will. Bad communication between cleaners and front of house. Garbage on street smelt awful. Not enough milk and sugar. Full lifts.

Great location, easy walking distances from town centre and near to a bus stop for the bus to the main train station. Room was comfy and a good size. WiFi was really fast and air-conditioning worked well. Breakfast spread was superb - loved the brioche in particular! Also appreciated not needing to check out until 12.00 on the final day.

The layout of the room was excellent and i loved the privacy. it was very clean and not shabby or outdated. had absolutely everything you would need. The good parking just next to the hotel and 2 min away tran stop would take you to the airport. It was 41C and hotel had everything you don't need to go anywhere else. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is very tasty 100% stay again
