Great location in walkable distance to a lot of the main tourist attractions. The bed was comfortable, and Sacha who was at reception during most of my stay was very helpful. Complimentary water during my stay.

This is not a criticism but just something to be mindful about. As mentioned, reception was very helpful with many things. The building doesn't have a lift and the stairs leading up to the higher floors is quite narrow if you have large suitcases, though reception was very helpful with carrying mine up and down for me. I'm told that additional toiletries like body lotion or hair conditioner need to be requested from reception, as they don't come ready in the room.

An absolutely fantastic hotel with nice and friendly staff. We were on our cycling holiday and passed through Bordeaux and booked a night to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. They also arranged a safe place to park our bikes. The communication with Sasha ahead of our arrival was very professional and welcoming. Cyrille welcomed us and showed us our room which was prepared very nicely. Spacious and luxurious room with bathtub and two “French balcony’s “. Manon was also very professional and was made us feel welcomed and seen. The spa is small but very nice and we had it all for ourself. The breakfast Manon served us in the morning was outstanding! We will definitely come back next time we are in Bordeaux!

From the minute we walked in, the level of service was incredible. They offered us coffee or tea, and then asked us to sit & relax before they told us more about the property. They showed us points of interest on the map, gave restaurant recommendations, and went out of their way to make sure we would have a great trip. The room is so perfect - everything is there - and it is decorated elegantly. Very quiet for a great night’s sleep! Perfect location. The breakfast was amazing & one of the best we have ever had! I didn’t have time to use the spa but so nice to have the services in this boutique hotel.

Excellent location, tram to airport is only 6mins walk. We walked everywhere. Staff were great, friendly & very accommodating. They gave valuable recommendations and tips on where to go best. It was very clean. Breakfast was delicious & fresh - amongst the best hotel breakfasts. Area felt safe, easy check in and check out. It's exactly how it's advertised. I'd be happy to stay here again.

It's not a deal breaker, but toilet space is quite tight & you can see the other person inside the shower while you're in bed. Not sure if this is normal in Bordeaux.

Location - perfect! Room - lovely! Everything wanted - lovely bath, all amenities, although the cupboards were a little impractical for access and hanging clothes ( too small.) Staff absolutely wonderful! So helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist and advise. Particularly Audrey and Auriane ( hope I spelt that right!) We were booked for Xmas Eve and Xmas Day and they both saved the days by arranging restaurants and transport when most places were closed. So, staff - perfect! And the chef did a lovely breakfast. Transport the hotel arranged from and to the airport -great! Cannot thank Audrey and her Team enough.

The hotel was in a prime location for visiting all the sites in Bordeaux. The staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help check us in when our flight was delayed and they even decorated the room as it was my husband’s birthday. The facilities across the hotel were done to a high standard and the room was perfectly quiet. We had a very special experience in the private spa with champagne and a lovely massage.

The only thing I would say is the hot tub in the spa could have been a little warmer and the communal areas in the hotel are v small but there are loads of breakfast spots in Bordeaux so didn’t impact our stay!

The hotel staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay in every way. From the initial communication, to the friendly welcome when we arrived. They also arranged a light dinner/ supper with wine on the roof terrace as it was a special occasion for us. The hotel is a small boutique hotel and so it was nice to feel like we were contributing directly to the local economy. We found the Bordeaux people very friendly and proud and pleased we wanted ti visit their city. There are lots of nice shops, good restaurants and coffee shops nearby… you will be spoilt for choice! The cathedral is near by and viewable from the roof terrace.

I thought the description provided by the hotel was very modest. This is a lovely location and hotel. If you cannot climb stairs easily I recommend you request a room on the lower floors.

Attention to detail is everything when it comes to top-tier hospitality, and Hôtel Singulier excels in that department. Our room was incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches from the handwritten welcome card to the picture frame-style TV to the tucked away mini-bar and coffee station. Pierre, the hotel manager, was very welcoming and helpful from start to finish and the hotel’s owners are available 24/7 even if the reception desk is closed. Don’t miss the view from the roof terrace - a great place for a drink and a moment to take in the beauty of Bordeaux.

For anyone who is averse to stairs, the only “drawback” is the lack of an elevator (but since it’s a historic building, they simply aren’t allowed to add one). If stairs aren’t a problem, then you really won’t find anything to dislike about this property.

My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Singulier in Bordeaux for one night, and it was absolutely delightful. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the elegant and cozy ambiance. After being offered an Upgrade for a reasonable price, We stayed on the third floor in a lovely room with an indoor bathtub. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated. The plush bedding and high-quality linens made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. The highlight was definitely the bathtub, which added a touch of luxury to our short stay. The service at Hotel Singulier was outstanding. Audrey, in particular, was incredibly nice and helpful. She provided us with excellent restaurant recommendations and made sure we felt very welcome.
