Pierre was an exceptional host — so thoughtful and welcoming. I made my booking just an hour in advance, and Pierre came immediately to check me in and make me feel at home. I ended up staying longer than expected due to work, and Pierre was very flexible and understanding about it. He also shared great tips about Bordeaux and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is wonderful — calm yet close to the city center — and the apartment itself was spotless and well maintained. I highly recommend staying here!

Tang Home-Bordeaux offers an excellent standard of accommodation. Centrally located in Bordeaux, it is within easy walking distance of many of Bordeaux main tourist attractions, parks and shopping precincts. It also affords easy access to Bordeaux excellent transport network. The rooms are comfortable, tidy and clean, each with its own private bathroom and the communal kitchen is well equipped and appointed for all and any self catering needs. Located just off main thoroughfares, it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend Tang Home-Bordeaux as excellent accommodation.

Check in is not available until 5pm which can be difficult for travellers arriving earlier in the day.

The host met us upon arrival and assisted us with luggage. She later gifted us a plate of delicious local strawberries. She was attentive and asked if there was anything else we needed (such as an ice tray, which she then provided). She was friendly and personable but allowing our privacy -- she made the stay very special. In addition, the facility was extremely clean and neat, the location was convenient to city center. The windows had black-out shades. Beds and bedding were extremely comfortable.

The room was very small, which was explained in the description; it was adequate.

Quiet, clean, comfortable and well appointed rooms with excellent private bathroom and shared kitchen facilities. Extremely well located close to tourist sites, shopping and transport options, and still very quiet. Very good accommodation. Recommended.

Check in is later in the day and the owner works a full time job so her Mother facilities the cleaning and check-ins. Lovely lady, however she doesn't speak English well which made it difficult as we are Australians our French is terrible.

although you have access to a kitchen, it is shared with other guests and the main lodger (host?), and we didn’t feel comfortable doing more than putting a couple of items in the fridge

The location was convenient, the room clean, well equiped. Instructions to check in were clear and detailed.

Communication felt too automated. Fortunately we didn’t have any serious problem, but I was wondering how would that be in case of any issue. The toilet seat was broken, I saw people already mentioned it in their reviews prior my reservation.

Location for visiting the sites in Bordeaux was ideal. on a quiet side street, but close to restaurants, shops and services. 15 minute walk to the tram station to go to the airport and back. Use of the kitchen facilities very convenient. You can use some space in a communal refrigerator. Access also to the stove, microwave and oven. Ample dishes and other utensils. Just be neat and tidy and clean up after yourself. And of course be quiet, as there are other guests and residents. My room was small, but ok for me, a single person. It might have been tight for two. But other rooms are fine for two people. I know that one of them (maybe others?) came with a terrace. I was especially grateful for the fan, which circulated the air nicely. Sleek, modern bathroom.

I ran out of toilet paper. But I snooped around in the communal kitchen area and found some. A minor flaw!

It was central to the main city. I could leave my bike in a secure corridor. Overall it was clean and comfortable.

The inside of window shutters could do with a good clean. The. Bottom sheet was scratchy. The noise from the kitchen downstairs carries up to the rooms. People were up late at night and it was noisy. Ear plugs are good.

I liked how close it was to bus stations, the boardwalk, and the shopping strip. We walked everywhere! The room was also very unique I loved the setup.

We really enjoyed this property - great location, clean and comfortable. We stayed only one night, but it would a great place for several nights.

We had no complaints.
