Location was fabulous as an easy walk to city centre and to the tram to access all attractions. Bed was lovely & comfortable and the breakfast provided was very very good - delicious. Staff were super helpful too. I’d stay there again. Highly recommended. Even though there is no lift the owner took my luggage upstairs which I was very thankful for.

The shower was so small and it was hard to get the shower & hand soap out of the containers. Probably so that not too much was used. But it was too hard so that it hurt my hand. A small thing in the whole scheme. Bedroom was small but did the job. As mentioned I’d stay there again as it was clean, comfortable and value for money.

Location is great - just at the center of UNESCO old town. Wonderful place to feel the city vibe, explore the town, and enjoy the mornings and the evenings. Walking distance to all things worth seeing in the old town, and a few steps only to take the tram which brings you to the more distanced location. The person managing the property is super nice, helpful and available! The breakfasts in the hotel are very pleasant. I highly recommend this small hotel. Of course you need to consider it’s not a big one, there is mo elevator etc, and you need to take into account the noise of the city at night - but it’s part or the deal if you decide to stay in the old town!

You need to consider the payable parking for your car, and quite a high price per day. But it’s an embedded aspect of staying in a very center. For the cars above 2 meters, you can leave it beyond the city center - we left ours by the Bordeaux lake (for free:)).

The owners of the hotel Stefan & Stephanie were extremely helpful in recommending places to visit and restaurants. Their homemade breakfast were superb. It included fresh coffee & tea, juices, crepes,tarts,ham, cheese,yoghurts,fresh fruit,& patisserie’s to mention just a few.Their hotel is centrally located and within easy reach of the excellent tramway system in the city. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the owners arranged a key code entry for a late arrival when the reception was not open.

The downside was there was no lift for the less able. However Stefan helped other guests by carrying luggage up & down the stairs we noticed but that was not a problem for us.

The location, in the city centre, meant I had everything I wanted to see in walking distance. It is in a lovely quiet spot, close to the cathedral and a Carrefours 2 minutes walk away. The staff were incredibly helpful to an Australian who speaks little French! There being no lift, my suitcase was carried up and down for me. The bed was comfortable, linen fresh and a fan and an open window helped on a warm night. Breakfast was full of choices.and fresh. Will definitely stay again Allowance HAS to be made for an historic building in a Medieval city. My room was small, but ok for a solo traveller. The bathroom is very small, but I managed fine. I climbed the 2 flights of stairs with no problems. The comfort and convenience was worth it.

We arrived late and the self check in was easy. The man on reception was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and also organised a taxi to the airport for our early departure. Breakfast was amazing with a good variety and fresh tasty food. The location was absolutely perfect and everything was just a short stroll away. We stayed 4 nights in total.

The room was very warm and when we opened the window for some air the noise from the street seemed amplified . no air con/ fan Room and bathroom on the small side

Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The gentleman at the desk was kind and made us feel welcome. The bed was very comfortable.

Be aware that the steps are steep and there is no lift. There is no eating allowed in the room which is a huge turn-off when you get in late. Just seemed odd to have such a rule for a hotel room. The TV is in front of the bathroom door, waiting to hit you in the head. When the rooms in the hall unlock their doors it's very loud, but quiet otherwise from the outside.

Great location and really helpfull staff. Cleaning services are done daily and the place is very clean. All in all, lots of good things to say. The area is relatively quite.

Small toilets and shower... I am not a big person and it was too tight for me... I was banging my elbows against the walls trying to shower. Unfortunaltly thin walls so you get to hear some of what your neigbohrs are doing.

Really helpful staff! Older hotel, quite steep stairs; breakfast 1 floor up, rooms 2 and 3 floors up. Staff was amazing and helped us carry luggage all the way to the top! Room is quite small but functioning - what you can expect for the price. If you're ok with stairs, this is a good deal!

No AC and the window in our room faced another wall, so difficult to ventilate in summer.

Nothing! No lift might pose problems for those with mobility issues, and without air conditioning, the rooms are probably quite hot in warmer temperatures but there is a fan in the room. The very central location, cleanliness and good price outweighs these 'issues' however.

We loved our host, he was very welcoming and helpful from first minute until we left. The hotel is very conveniently located in center of town in Bordeaux, which made access to restaurants and places to see very easy. Very comfortable room. If we come back to Bordeaux, we will stay there again for sure. Very many thanks once again!
