Amazing location right in the centre of Bordeaux, equally distanced between the Garonne river and the main square. Very close to lots of amazing places to eat and lots of great retail outlets, mainly fashion. The location is the number 1 for this place. The staff are lovely with reception staffed at all times . Complimentary drinks and pastries available in reception. Room gets turned over every day with new linen which I did not expect but it was nice to return to a fresh, clean room. The room has more facilities than expected for the price e.g. hairdryer, fast broadband. It is amazing value for money and I will return...but: It was noisy outside (not their fault) it didn't bother me as I could sleep through an earthquake but if you have children might be worth considering. The local council does work all hours, again, not the hotels fault. However, internal corridors and doors are noisy...again, no issue for me. Room is budget plus. It is basic but they made them the best they can be. If you want luxury, then spend 4 times the amount and go somewhere else, but if you are looking for a nice, friendly place to come back to after a full day out, then you can't beat this place. I will be going back.

The room was small, just big enough to fit a double bed but was adequate and the ensuite shower room was small but functional. What you would expect in a traditional style 3 star city centre hotel. Towels were changed and the room was cleaned daily. I requested a kettle and cups which were supplied. The location was perfect, inside the central pedestrianized area and just a short stroll from the main city centre.

There were no hooks or towel rail in the bathroom to hang up damp towels. Not a fault of the Hotel, but beware of taxis. I pre-booked a taxi from the airport to the hotel which would not enter the centralised pedestrian area. The taxi dumped me on the edge of the pedestrian area and I was left to find my own way to the hotel on foot. Fortunately I only had hand baggage and had to use Google maps to find the hotel. The hotel booked me a taxi to return to the airport which came to the hotel to collect me.

I booked this hotel last minute with minimum expectations. However, I was greatly surprised! I was upgraded with no additional cost since bigger rooms were available. Location is unbeatable, all the tourist attractions are walking distance. Although it’s very central and there was a big festival outside, they had nice soundproof insulation. The rooms were extremely clean and the staff were so kind and ready to help anytime. When I travel Bordeaux again, I will rebook the same hotel with no hesitation. Thanks a lot for the great experience.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the old city, not far from the river with plenty of bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. The room was quiet.

The configuration of our room was a bit strange with the shower and wash basin being part of the bedroom itself. The toilet was enclosed but very small. I don't know if all the rooms were like this. To be fair, when we were given the room, the receptionist said we could change it if we wanted to.

Uncluttered and generally clean.

Chest of drawers in room was badly damaged and couldn’t be used. Bath tap/shower control was not working properly and leaking from the fitting. Although the room was generally very clean there were drinks splashes on some of the walls. The door locks were very fiddly and we were disturbed by late guests trying to work out how to get into their rooms.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The location is absolutely perfect, very centrally located. Affordable pricing

Unfortunately they had a hall way door in front of the elevator on the second floor that slammed way too loud every time someone got off the elevator. This woke me up in my sleep several nights and morning as it was quite annoying. I would recommend removing that door. Also someone set off the fire alarm another night forcing us all to evacuate the hotel. This caused bad sleep habits during the trip but I also see that hall way door as a fire hazard if elevator is not working.

I could not recommend this hotel enough. As a solo female traveler I found the the staff were extremely helpful, the location was in the heart of the city, walking distance to most attractions and the hotel felt very safe. The wifi worked great and the room was very spacious. I would absolutely stay here again.

Given the location, you can hear the street sounds/music at night but overall the room was extremely comfortable so this did not disturb my sleep.

Brilliant central location, near lots of points of interest, restaurants and close to a tram stop. Excellent sized room and comfy bed. Very pleasant staff. Good breakfast, lots of variety

Spacious bedroom, comfy bed and nice facilities. Pretty modern TV and good WiFi. The hotel location is superb just a stone's throw away from several touristic locations in the city. Great breakfast level and the staff is very friendly and helpful

The only downside is that the bathroom does not have an outside ventilation but nothing that a window opened for a couple of minutes won't fix.

The hotel is situated in the older area of Bordeaux and in the Mall area of the city . Great food, , sightseeing and outdoor French restaurants . The staff are exceptional nothing is a problem for them

Uber taxis are restricted into from servicing this inner area of Bordeaux. This cause# problems for tourists visiting the area who use Uber elsewhere
