The location is unbeatable: easy access from public transport, very central, every restaurants and shops within walking distance, stone throw from the place de la bourse... The room is quite large size, very comfortable bed. Appreciated the lift to the upper floor and the private access code. Breakfast was good too.

The bathroom felt a bit claustrophobic, the floor quite slippery. Would have liked a kettle and tea/coffee facility in the room to make our own drinks. We had to buy drinks from the souvenir shop down the street instead. Not a dealbreaker however.

Location was excellent, short walk from the tram stop & right in the old town so easy to walk around, close to many good restaurants & bars. Well priced & clean rooms. Sound insulation was good. Nice touch to give a bottle of wine (though no glasses to drink in 😅) It was everything we needed. We even came back to stay again.

Only mild inconveniences - light in stairs weren’t working very well. Had to wait a bit longer to check-in (maybe an hour) as they were very busy that day so took longer to clean & prepare the rooms, but as I said those were mild inconveniences, and they made up for it by storing our luggage & letting us use the bathroom before we came back later to check-in

the location is amazing, just next to the water mirror, lots of good cafes, bars and restaurants nearby, the staff was really helpful and welcoming, the single room is not the biggest but it was comfortable and clean and perfect for a short stay to spend the night and rest for a bit during the day

the walls are quite thin, you can hear a lot of noise from the hallway (like other guests opening the doors and walking around) so it might be a bit of an inconvenience when you're a light sleeper, the shower curtain was a bit annoying as it kept clinging to you when it was wet so it was a big of a struggle to take a shower

Location right in city centre.clean and beds v comfortable loved the bath ...didn't eat breakfast as not up too early ...staff friendly.good for 2 star hotel .

Maybe not having a kettle in room..r cups but I suppose its a,small thing .I like my tea ..and no English channels on telly but same in other countries ..like an English channel for news at nighttime

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bleu de Mer. The room was basic but clean and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The hotel is located right in the heart of the old town, easy to walk to all the main attractions plus the price was very reasonable for such a great location. The staff were also very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend!

The location in the center of the old town where everything can be reached in few minutes walking. The Tram is just front of the door and enable you to go everywhere in the whole city, including the airport for just 1.80 euros. The room in the back of the hotel was very quiet, no noise at all. Perfect climat as well, heating and cooling easily to be controlled. The staff very friendly and always available.

Centrally located. Nice staff. When we dropped our luggage off before check-in, the guy at the reception was very nice and helpful. He even filled up our water bottles with water & ice! They gave us a bottle of wine in the room as a present. The building is old but rooms are nicely renovated. Though room is small, it is good for a short stay in the city. Air-conditioning worked very nicely.

The location just behind the Place de La Bourse is perfect. If you arrive by train, take a tram line C or D and you are a short step away. There is also a carpark opposite, not linked to the hotel. The room is small, as is therefore the bed but tidy and clean. The breakfast was fine, the Nespresso is excellent. The staff were good and speak English. The two rooms at the front on the first floor (English first I.e. one up from Ground) have a little balcony with a view to the Place de Borse.

The bottle-bank (bottle recycling point) is right outside and emptied in the small hours. If you shut the windows it won’t be as bad but my wife insists on fresh air, so expect to wake with a jolt if you do that. Noise of late-night revellers is a fact of like at the weekend in a big city, nit the hotel’s fault,but be aware.

Very helpful staff. Complimentary bottle of wine. Easy to enter hotel at any time, with the code for front door. We don't have breakfast, so can't comment. Lift to all floors. Perfect location, minutes from the river and trams. Short distance to so many restaurants, bars etc.

Would have liked tea & coffee facilities in room. And slightly thicker towels. But it is a 2* hotel.

Having visited Bordeaux before, the location of the hotel was perfect for us. Close to Sainte-Catherine, restaurants, bars, cathedrals and the river. The gentleman on reception, was very helpful, discrete and available at all hours. We enjoyed the breakfast too, the selection was good. Personally for me the bed was a little on the firm side, but that is personal choice.

The bathroom could have done with a touch up, it looked very tired. The spare pillows in the cupboard did not look to be in the best state for me. I wouldn't use them.
