The hotel was well placed, opposite the tram hub for lines A, C & D. Close to the main shops, certainly well placed for the many eating establishments and the many historic buildings. The hotel was very well organised, room cleaned daily and a very good breakfast, they would supply many items that were freshly cooked although many were on display daily. Staff were very helpful, and most spoke English. We booked a room on the sixth floor (number 605) with lift access to all floors and views out over the city. This room was very large with a very comfortable King bed and a seperate Sitting room with sette and table & chairs. The bathroom and toilet/bidet although together, were in seperate rooms. Some aspects of the hotel were slightly tired, but overall, it is a well maintained building.

As I said, some aspects were showing signs of age like tile grouting really need brightening up around the bath, windows need replacing, although were servicable and the two A/C units again worked but are old models. The replacement cost of the above would give the room a higher grade and bring the look of the room more inine with its present charges. Lastly the floor area is not flat, there is a step up to the sitting room as you enter the room and a similar step down into the bedroom and I would not recommend it for people who find difficulty with walking unaided, as there are no handrails. We did leave the light on in the bathroom during the night, just in case.

I don't know if I've ever stayed in a 4-star hotel. Now I know what I've been missing. It just FELT good. The staff was wonderful. Welcoming, informative, and we left our luggage there (early arrival AND post check-out) to walk. The room (and bathroom) were large, clean, comfortable. The bathroom was giant. For being so central, and a room which looked out at the main street, it was VERY quiet. The breakfast was very nice.

They limit you to 3 (?) internet connections. We had 3 smart devices and one computer - we had maxed out our connections prior to realizing the limitation. So, plan your wi-fi connection priority.

The location of the hotel was great and was very central. It is also close to the tram line. The buffet breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.

This may have been specific to our room but there was no plug points next to the bed so you had to plug everything in by the kettle under the TV. Another thing was the toilet was in a totally separate room to the sinks and shower room so you had to leave the toilet to wash your hands in another room. Overall the room was still good.

Great stay. Excellent location. Trams and buses (including the one to San Emillion) right outside the door. Tourist office across the road where we bought the City Pass- well worth iit. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Staff friendly and helpful. We had a lovely room with balcony on 6th floor. Lift only went to 5th floor- not an issue for us. Breakfast is fine- not brilliant but more than adequate. Cold meats, cheese, smoked salmon, bread, pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurt, tea, coffee. Hot food was scrambled eggs and sausages. We would definitely recommend hotel and would be happy to stay again.

Nothing, all very good. There were a few steps in the room that may not suit everyone. Step on entering the room, step down to where bed was, and a step up to balcony.

Only a one-night stay but a very comfortable hotel in excellent location. Worth paying extra for the outside balcony/mini terrace to let the lively Bordeaux atmosphere in (though the place does get noisy at night, so remember to close the doors). Very comfortable room and friendly staff, this is always my go-to Bordeaux hotel and would thoroughly recommend.

Noisy revellers at 5am in the nearby square but not the hotel['s fault! The price you pay for a lovely room overlooking the main square!

Everything was amazing! The location, cleanliness, the reception being open 24 hours a day and the temperature of the rooms were very nice. I stayed in a rainy time and the rooms smelled clean and it was a very enjoyable and comfortable holiday. Words are inadequate and all employees are very helpful and caring. I experienced all the places that needed to be visited by walking. Of course, except for villages :) ❤️

The staff was really wonderful -- answering questions, making me feel at home. I was alone, and needed advice sometimes -- they were terrific. The location is perfect -- close to the tram, close to places to visit, but also private.

My only complaint is the coffee. I don't love Nespresso machines for coffee -- when I stay in a European hotel, I like being able to ask for a specially made cafe au lait or cappuccino -- not being pointed to a machine.

Hotel location is excellenf to visit Bordeaux. Completely renovated, Buffet breakfast with many choices. Welcoming, attentive staff. Tourist office is across the street. Gave very suggestions (river cruises),detailed maps to walk trough Bordeaux. Ask for a room on higher floors with view over Quinconces park: gorgeous sunrises over Garonne river, key bridges, trees in middle of city. Major streetcar lines stop.in front of hotel. Very quiet with double windows.

We had two wonderful nights in the city of Bordeaux. The point where the hotel is located is the most ideal. The staff were always willing to help and always smiling. This really made us feel very nice. Beautiful renovated bathrooms with wood floors. Very comfortable beds. Our room was a superior double room with a wonderful view of the city. Loved the hotel. Very quiet Tasty breakfast, good variety of fruit, meats, cheese, yoghurts ,smoked salmon. Staff were very helpfull and friendly. And also very central to everything. Highly recommend 👌
