The hostel is very reasonably priced for great value. It's smack in the middle of the city, which meant it was easy to get an early start, return for an afternoon break during the hottest hours, then go back out towards the evening, even when doing everything by foot as I did. The room and shared bathroom were clean. I stayed in a dormitory, but the bed was big enough to still create a sense of a personal space and you have space under the bed to store your luggage. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great (and cheap). The place also has a very nice bar.
You need to bring a padlock if you want your luggage behind lock and key. As I had brought a laptop and some other electronics, this was important to me, so I had to run out and buy a padlock.

The staff was very kind, they try to help always. As you probably noticed, there’s no common kitchen but if you save your name for a breakfast, it’s very nice with some hot and cold drink as well as some yogurt with a piece of bakery stuff. For me the best 2 things are: location (I live in Bordeaux for 3 years now, its my moving period that’s why I stayed here and I tell you that its just at the center on the main street, st Cathrine ) and the common area for killing some time. It is just like a normal cafe, you can study or talk with your friends in a cozy atmosphere. During the day I literally could study there until the midnight without being uncomfortable
Since there’s no kitchen, maybe they could put some free hot water with a small packaged coffee/tea bags for the guests. But not a big deal

I was pleasantly surprised by all the support , services available , and lively atmosphere. Happy hour a wonderful feature for socializing. Very comfortable and accommodating lounge area. Tables and awning to sit outside. Great viewing with floor to ceiling windows in main area and my room had a charming large window opening to the plaza . Washrooms and showers close to rooms. All the staff were amazing ! Loved the Projet Square, right off Saint Catherine St , near so many sites, very walkable area, and bustling life. Thriving area with cafes, restaurants, pastry shops and so much more. Only couple blocks from the tram. Really is the Central Hostel and offers a real taste of Bordeaux. C’est Mangnifique !
General washroom not on main level .

Comfortable beds with a good layout inside (long shelf, light, plugin). Location is excellent with aldi and carrefour there and then all the boulangeries, pubs, shopping. Downstairs is a nice spot to chill. Staff were all nice and helpful.
No soap in the toilets or men's shower on 3rd floor. Announcement board says 4€ breakfast but no one said it had to be purchased night before. Wasn't sure upon arrival if outside food was okay inside the cafe/pub area of the hostel. Also roof advertised but nothing is set up there to sit and door was locked.

I liked how clean and well-kempt the property felt, along with it being in a great location right in the middle of Bordeaux downtown. The bathrooms were clean and always ready to use, staff was always there to help, and rooms always felt safe.
When I got there, there was a person who had bottles of urine and empty bottles of alcohol on the bed beneath mine that made me uncomfortable, but I know that that is not entirely the hostel's fault. Also, the square Saint Projet has quite a few homeless encampments, but I never felt unsafe or bothered by them.

The staff was very polite and helpful with any questions I had. They give me a map of Bordeaux and explain how to look at it
I wish the breakfast was bigger. Croissant, yogurt and coffee and juice, it's for 6 euros approximately. But for example, I dont eat yogurt, then you can make an alternative instead of yogurt: cheese / ham for a croissant or baguette. You can add toast bread as an alternative to toasted bread. Lockers in the basement (when I made a checkout from the hotel and I want to save my backpack for a few hours before leaving for the airport and walking around the city) only for cash coins. Perhaps it would be somehow possible to make an alternative to pay with bank cards (because I was not the only one), or to warn the time of check-in at the hotel so that customers know in advance that they need to leave cash coins.

I was in a mixed dormitory. Beds can be closed with curtains to have more privacy, power sockets for chargers are working and with a small shelf where to put devices in charge/water bottle/etc. Location is really central so very easy to reach. Facilities are clean (shared toilets and showers too), with a lot of shelves or lockers where to put stuff.
Shared bathrooms and showers are not in each room, so they are shared with the entire floor. Nevertheless, they were clean, but you risk to have to wait a lot before going (especially in the morning when everybody is leaving). The presence of kitchens could be a plus, but they are not present

The hostel is centrally located and it's only 2 minutes away from the tram stop of the A line, running directly to the airport. The facilities were clean and maintained. The reception is in the groundfloor cafe, which doubles as a dining room and/or coworking space. Despite central location and the open window, at night it was fairly quiet and my sleep was uninterrupted.
The beds were comfy but the mattresses were cover in plastic, which made noise when somebody was turning in bed.

Excellent location, kind staff and calm atmosphere. Comfortable beds.
My bed had a wind up, wind down shutter (the rest had curtains). Definitely get rid of the shutters or ask for a curtain bed! It was noisy and annoying to use.

The staff was exceptional, front desk, housekeeping, mgmt, helpful, everyone seemed to be happy to be there, grateful to work in such a harmonious environment.
Ventilation can be tough to manage in the winter too cold and sometimes too noisy outside( especially wknds) to open or even crack a window, wet shoes from rain add up w/8 people in a room, probably in the summer also a challenge w/the heat...perhaps a quiet air purifier would be helpful.
