Camilla and William were responsive with messaging and clear with how to access the building and room when I arrived. The building itself was charming: upon entering, a vintage light schemata guide you up the stairway- filled with classic 50/60/70s iconic framed pictures- until you reach the appropriate room. The room itself was comfortable, spacey, and given the summer heat, well air conditioned. I found the location to be my general prefrence of outside high traffics areas, but close enough (15 minutes) to walk to a central area, or near public transportation. It was super easy to take the tram from the train station. The neighborhood around is quaint and you can probably find what you need if you want to stick close by. The general atmosphere of the bnb didn't seem too social, but I'm sure it might depend on the dynamic of people at any given time.

Unless I missed something, I believe providing a pamplet or information on locally accessible businesses (on the street or real close by) would have helped alot.

Lovely modern room in a location very close to many attractions in Bordeaux. Within walking distance of lots of restaurants as well as the tram. It was a very brief visit but would definitely consider staying for a longer time. Also the breakfast basket was delicious. Fresh croissants, bread, yoghurt, fruit, orange juice, tea & coffee. And delivered early as requested. Also would recommend the parking option if you're driving.

The remote check-in process was a little confusing. I could see in the booking.com history that there was an email giving the room details and entry instructions but I did not receive the email. The ground-floor room (which we requested) was a bit noisy due to guests arriving/departing at 05.30am. The fan in the toilet was on constantly and the fan in the bathroom didn't work at all. Small issues overall, but you did ask!

Excellent location in the charming historic quarter known as the 'Golden Triangle'. La Maison Galiène is an elegant building, very tastefully decorated and renovated, combining both modern and old-style features. Our room was very spacious (nearly 30m2). Great bathroom with large Italian-style shower, all very clean. Breakfast is included - a delicious selection of breads and pastries. Camille and William are very accommodating with arrival times and answer all enquiries really quickly. Highly recommended.

Beautifully restored house, with rooms that felt more like a boutique hotel than a B&B. We enjoyed taking breakfast on the terrace. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and allowed us use of the kitchen for borrowing wine glasses and storing some cold drinks. Camille and William offered a nice option for parking our car for two days while there. Plenty of transit, Uber, and Citibike options for getting around town! Air conditioning a wonderful plus!

This B&B is located just near by tram station. Staff is really kind and frequently communicating to ensure comfort of user. Apartment is beautiful and big enough for 4 people. We could select breakfast at living room or at own bed room. We selected to have breakfast at our room. Staff brought perfect breakfast in front of the room. It was really good breakfast!

Only some points about bath and toilet. Bath tab was not clean enough. There was waste from previous user left at bathroom. There was only one roll of toilet paper at toilet that it was not enough for 4 people. I would like to suggest to strengthen cleaning to be perfect B&B.

We loved the huge, spacious and clean room and we were charmed that ours had a small balcony, bath & walk in shower! The bed was comfortable and the area was quiet at night, yet close enough to walk to lots of places. The breakfast in the room was so sweet, a lovely balance of items packed up in a picnic basket, including hot chocolate! Communication was easy and it was kind of them to let us leave our bags and pick up before a late flight.

The host was very understanding when we had trouble with our arrival and helped us in our momentary time of desperation. We were able to park the car not too far from the hotel at a competitive rate and they let us keep the car in the garage beyond our time of leaving the hotel since we were lucky and they had room.. The hotel was on a quiet street and no noise camei in from the outside or from other rooms.

The coffee could be improved

The hosts of the property went above and beyond to make our stay AMAZING! The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The upstairs loft for our teenage daughter gave her privacy. The hosts let us use their washer in property and drying rack which was so thoughtful of them. We had breakfast brought to our room and it was a wonderful assortment of pastries, jellies, yogurt, cheeses, and meat. The hot chocolate and orange juice was delightful. We parked our car in the secure lot. Thank you so much for taking such great care of us. If we find ourself in Bordeaux again we would stay here!

The property was fantastic. Perfect location, minutes away from the centre. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. We had breakfast delivered in a basket in the morning. Utterly charming. The decor is lovely and there is a kitchen and lounge room on the ground floor. Also a small courtyard garden.

We were on the ground floor (I think this is the pet friendly room) and there was a little traffic noise and some noise from the guests footsteps above.

La Maison Galiene was perfect. The hosts couldn't of been more accommodating. Julie the house keeper was very friendly, we had a lovely room and a nice breakfast. The b & b is in an excellent location, close to the tram but set back enough that it's nice and quiet.
