as I entered I was met by a scantily clad receptionist who instantly made me feel at ease and at home. nothing was to much trouble. I slept like a baby and woke up to have a glorious power shower in a spacious en-suite. there was a small issue with the electronic gate in the morning and after a 12 hour night shift the receptionist flew out to help us like a turd off a shovel. couldn’t rate highly enough.

I knew this washed a budget hotel when it booked it. So no surprises there. I ve used ibis budget before. It's a good option for the overnight traveller who just needs a bed/shower/toilet with secure on site parking. It was basic, clean, comfortable and quite. They are functional and that's what you're paying for. I will use these again when travelling. This particular hotel is very close walking distance of several restaurants which was a bonus. The bunk bed layout is a great cheap option for families with young children.

This particular hotel I was advised by the receptionist today secure my bike well inside the compound for security and it had a feel about the outside car park as not safe for cars/bikes.. But I've experienced that before and it comes with the cheap option unfortunately. Happy to say my bike was still there in the morning.

Great breakfast as always: plenty of pastries, cheeses and ham, toast and spreads to get us ready for the day. Cafe au lait from the machine does a decent job as a cappuccino alternative!

We were there during a heat wave, so the top bunk was very hot during the night even with the window open, so next time will bring a portable battery-powered fan to help get some air moving as at least outside it was a bit cooler. On the way back we stayed another night and the temperature was fine as usual.

Clean. Comfortable. Secure free parking. Quick and easy check in and out. Good value. Convenient for stopping off when travelling down to southern areas of France.

Could have done with another plug socket. Two not quite enough. Other than this, totally met my expectations.

You used to have BBC English language news - over the last 2 or 3 years you have deleted this . Please bring it back . We normally spend 5 to 6 weeks down on the lot out of range of radio and no TV . It would be very nice to know what the news is before we enter the real world again , please .

Good value for money and still comfortable

For late arrivals the entrance of the parking is not mentioned in any clear way and there is no bell or whatever for car drivers. I was lucky to randomly met a guy who stayed at the hotel and could indicate the entrance to me and ask the receptionist to open the gate

Great position for a journey break just off the motorway. Plenty of restaurants within a few minutes walk

Bathroom needed a good dose of limescale remover. Breakfast facilities too small and too many tables crammed in. I assume they expect people to eat on the patio outside but in October in the rain it wasn't an option.

Checkin and checkout was very smooth and easy. Upon request, the staff provided a small fan (really needed during summer!). The bunk-style bed is a little unusual, but turned out to be handy for storing small bags and food. Wifi was strong, and it the hotel did the job just fine for a 1-night stay on a road trip. There's a large parking area at back of building, but it's best to let the staff know if you're going to checkout early as they may need to unlock the gate.

Bathroom is styled like a cruise ship - but unnecessarily small. Still worked fine, and everything was clean.

It's a dog friendly budget place. You get a clean comfortable room with a shower etc., in an area surrounded by eating and drinking places where it's easy to get road connectivity. It's a place for an en-route stay that's hard to beat.

Nothing to mention.

Gave us exactly what we wanted for an overnight stay. Staff polite & efficient. Bed was comfortable & breakfast was good too.

Nothing really stands out as a dislike. Hard to find any faults
