We stayed in the 2 bedroom lodge in the hotel ground, which was very spacious, with lots of wide floor to ceiling windows and overlooking the river one side and the swimming pool at the other. It’s just one lodge so felt rather exclusive. We purchased breakfast from the main hotel building. Isn’t the cheapest for the variety they serve but it’s reasonable and convenient, and pastries are fresh (you can choose not to have breakfast there since the lodge has a fully equipped kitchen anyway). Amazing staffs. Can see it’s dog friendly too. Pool wasn’t open given the season (April) but looks decent. Nice location, can get to town and the marina via the canal walk. Highly recommend.

My room was book with a small kitchenette, with sink, fridge, hob, microwave and and plates etc for two. As I was travel with two teenage sons (late risers) I found this very useful and well worth the minimum increase cost above the standard room. All the staff I met were charming and helpful.

The room was on the noisy side (road) side of the hotel. therefore passing traffic noise and late night noise. But not a real problem.

Very comfortable beds and wonderful staff

The room with the kitchenette was smaller than the other rooms - the kitchenette just occupied some of the footprint of the room, we assumed it would be a little bigger. So that room was cramped and we were not really able to use the kitchenette as a result.

We had such a wonderful stay at Les Fougères and find it strange that the hotel is only rated 2*! The room was bright, spacious and clean with a big balcony overlooking all the greenery surrounding the hotel. We also asked for a kitchenette which was well equipped and sectioned off with a door so the room was not filled with the smell of food. The location was ideal and walking distance from everything, we really enjoyed walking into the main Hossegor town and to the beach in the evening. The staff were super friendly and always happy to help with any questions and the housekeeping team kept the hotel looking spotless. Thank you for a great stay!

Very friendly staff. Dogs are very welcome. Because of sanitary reasons dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room. But the staff was very helpful to setup our breakfast table outdoors so we could have our dog with us. Great location in quiet area with nice garden at walking distance of the beach, and via the backside of the parking lot you get to the lake. Rooms simple but clean and we loved the terrace with view on the garden. We were here for just one night as we were travelling further south, but really liked the place and would definitely come back for a longer stay.

I received a very warm and helpful welcome to this delightful hotel. Lauriane and her colleagues were great and even allowed me to wheel my bicycle into the room to keep it secure overnight. They were kind enough to recommend restaurants for me and the one I selected was perfect. Breakfast the following morning was lovely and there was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant.

The room was huge! On the ground level, with a sliding door opening to a private deck. The bed was quite comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful. They were very kind to let me keep my luggage there early as I was changing hotels. It comes with breakfast which looked like a large selection of fruit, pastries etc but I didn’t take it. Very welcoming, large lounge and great location.

this hotel is situated in a residential area surrounded by trees and is very quiet. It is next to the canal and within walking distance of the beach. The staff is super friendly and nice (speak excellent English) and seem to enjoy their work. The hotel has a nice garden and a pool (unheated). We didn't eat breakfast there so we cant comment on that. the beds are very comfortable although the pillows are a bit thin. Our room had a nice size balcony which was nice to look over the garden and pool area. the bathroom is not fancy but very clean and does what it needs to do.

As before this hotel is one of my favorites because of the quiet location, excellent, super friendly staff and everything is spotless clean and works. last time I wrote about their pillows being a bit thin and surprise when we arrived back a week later they had better pillows. not because of my comment apparently but because it was planned already so even better good night rest.

now I have nothing I don't like about this place!!

Conveniently located within walking distance from the beach and the city centre.

The only downside is that there isn’t much soundproofing between rooms. Got woken up several times by guests using showers late at night.
