The hotel is very close to the town center, so its position was excellent. Staff very helpful, gave good recommendations for dinner in town, as the hotel's restaurant was closed the day/evening we were there. Good breakfast as well.

The 2 parking places at hotel's entrance are quite small, not easy to see when you first arrive, and are only for downloading/loading your luggage. Then you have to drive to the nearby public parking, which is spacious and easy to access on foot from the hotel. When we arrived, the 2 parking spaces by the hotel were occupied (illegally, by cars delivering merchandise to nearby businesses). We had to make a long detour and come back, and still had to wait for space to be made available. The street has only one lane per direction and is quite busy, so it is not possible to wait too long, as you hinder traffic. These observations are mainly for other hotel customers, so they are aware of the situation. I doubt the hotel can do anything about it.b

Room was a great size and very comfortable. We liked the lounge area-lovely touch. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Great location as it was a short walk to the centre of the old town and the river, restaurants etc. Great choice at breakfast, all fresh products. Disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open throughout our stay, but the staff were very helpful in recommending other restaurants.

Excellent stay in this friendly, small & interesting hotel within the Old Town. Very helpful information about restaurants & tourist sites given when checking in. Enjoyed the personal touch at breakfast. Our room was very comfortable. Easy walking distance to the main train station and tourist areas. Close to the tram stop.

Excellent location for the older part of town, parking nearby, a little bit complex to find first time by car but Ok afterwards. Had a really nice room at the top of the building. Clean, good bathroom and friendly staff.

Room maybe would be colder in winter during to age of windows but this is a minor point

Perfectly located in the town. Wonderful reception staff. Great car parking facilities across the road.spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and spacious room and good shower. Iift/elevator was so welcome.had dinner in the restaurant and was very nice.

A good comfortable hotel with an underground car park across the road and easy to drive to. The location was excellent and very convenient for walking around Bayonne. Breakfast was delicious. We were only sorry that the restaurant was not open for an evening meal, when it should have been, as one of the reasons we booked the hotel was for its restaurant

Although the hotel was on a main road and our bedroom looked out onto this road we had no traffic noise at all. We had 2 rooms and 1 was upgraded which was a bit disappointing. The hotel was very quirky with a wonderful turret entrance. We had an evening meal on our first night which was good. Would definitely return.

The hotel is in a very good location to explore the town from.The car park is secure and close to get to. The staff were friendly. We came from the airport and it was a quick drive... I prefer Bayonne to Biarritz!

A little bit more space for our big cases but was fine!

A hotel of great character, well situated, good view, a very spacious suite, wonderful staff, the best shower I've ever had, and when we had to leave a day early we were not charged for the night we did not use.

Small things but the second bedroom had only one bedside table and we were unalbe to adjust the room temperature

Location was fine in the old town, food was great ( dinner ) bar was fine. The underground public car park just across the road and safe.

Breakfast a bit lacking, but not unusual for a French hotel. Uk visitors tend not to eat cold meats and cheese. But the staff were good and friendly.
