We have stayed on 6 previous occasions at the hotel for our annual family ski trip and we always return. The family room is a great size and meets our needs. The common room with pool table is a hit. Breakfast sets us up nicely for the day ahead. Thones is lovely and has all the amenities we need.

We have always had room 207 and this year had 407 but found this room (albeit identical) to be a colder room despite the heating and we missed the balcony from the other room in truth to enjoy the lovely village views. The construction work going on at the rear also mean the car parking was trickier than usual and so had to park further away.

Breakfast was served in the bar. Basic but fine. Machine coffee. More fresh fruit would have been nice. But perfectly adequate. Woke on a Saturday morning to market in the square below, which was very jolly. Had dinner in the hotel, highly recommend the tartiflette, delicious. Menu has changed since our last stay, quite a lot more limited. Sad to see the steaks had gone!

The private carpark is no longer available, which is sad. Main reason we chose the hotel as we were taking a very packed car skiing and wanted it safe. But public parking very close by.

Location is great for La Clusaz. Our 6th time staying here as a family for our ski week. Great place, kids love it, pool table and games room, several great places to eat in Thones. Rooms cleaned daily. Always warm! Street below hotel is now pedestrianised which is a bonus too for any noise.

Parking at hotel is a premium but free parking off site very close by if not. Be aware nothing open at all to eat at on a Monday evening so plan for this.

We were very late, but we received all information and the keys, everything was nice. Apartment nice and good breakfast.

Apartment was too small, we think that there need little renovation and to make it more cozy. For the breakfast advice - need more choice, some fresh vegetables, fruits, more healthy options.

Very nice restaurant and breakfast at this hotel in the lovely little town of Thônes. Room was simple, but comfortable enough.

Room lacked AC, and during our stay in late July with outside temps around 30C°, sleep was hard due to the heat in the room.

Nice, friendly hotel right in the centre of Thones, less than 30 minutes away from Lake Annecy. Our family room was nice and spacious. Bathroom a bit dated but very clean. We didn't try the buffet breakfast (10 euro pp) as there was a little boulangerie across the road that served French coffee and a pastry for 2.50 - check it out if you have the time. The hotel mentions free parking - the parking is actually a public parking in the street behind the hotel (Rue de la Tournette) and the hotel is accessible via a covered walkway. We went in August and found a parking space but it is not possible to reserve it. The hotel is right in the centre of Thones, close to lots of restaurants/church/market (on a Saturday). Thones itself is a very pretty village.

Everything was fine.

I liked intimacy cause never was I ever disturbed by the staff for any reason, yet everybody was nice when I came to them :) I liked the terrasse accessible at all times since I am a smoker so I could go smoke outside anytime. I really liked the location and the fact that there were some books I could borrow to read in my room.

Not the hotel's fault, I was just unlucky to be there at the same time as a loud group. A bit expensive.

Room bigger than we thought, good facilities . Great breakfast and helpful staff.

Parking was in a public car park rather than own .

The property was very cute and cozy. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was also nice and accomodating

Nicely located on high street of small town. Good basic room with comfortable bed. Nice breakfast in pleasant restaurant area. Good value for the area.

Reception is closed on Monday when we arrived and we had to find our way round the back.
