Staff are very attentive and helpful, location for skiing. It is just across the street and to the piste (down to L' Etale chair lift). Skiroom at the accommodation. 2 adorable Golden Retrievers at the accommodation is a BIG Plus Breakfast is ok. Good dinner served daily

In winter, Warm Water for shower is just toleratabe and not at comfortable temperature for sub-zero days. Bus 8 is about once every hour and most of the schedules do not stop at the Gare Routière (not in control of the accommodation anyway)

Beautiful new room. Fresh clean beds. Very spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. The social room / bar space.

The loud music in the social room / bar. I’d say no on liked it, because after it started, no one (NO ONE) sat in there. I would have loved to continue relaxing with my book but had to go to my room as it was just too noisy and not relaxing at all. Was a bit pants having to stay in your room. Why not just put some quiet background music on? Would have been nice to access the property to sit in a lobby / social room whilst waiting for room check in. Instead, you have to wait out in the rain on a mountain side in the middle of no where!

Nice place, a few minutes from La Clusaz. Parking opposite side of the road. Basic but comfy room with walk in shower. WC are located in the corridor. Very nice and polite staff. The only downside for me was breakfast as hardly any choice for someone who avoids bread and sugar.

Breakfast , lack of curtains or shutters and the fact that I had to buy a hostel association membership which I won't use again ( luckily only a few euros)

As always, these youth hostels are super nice, cosy and the staff is friendly, helpful. Its a great thing that you can meet a lot like-minded people here (cyclists, hikers, runners, bikers). I never thought Id like hostels but I really do!

Loved that place, the atmosphere, the location a bit outside la Clusaz, the common dinner, the arrangements to making a vegan one.

the breakfast could have more options for vegan (like oats, nuts and seeds and more fruit options and a peanut butter or smth)

For the price, it was good compared to other hotels, of course. It was surprisingly quiet for a hostel. Staff were cool.

Elevator was not working.

What's not to love? The staff were exceptionally helpful during my stay. I greatly appreciated the help. I cannot find fault at all with all staff members. Good food and a great location. Walk 50m and then ski down to the Etale chairlift or walk 200m to get the Gondola across to the Balme. I highly recommend staying for a relaxed, close to the slope vacation.

Take a snap shot of the ski bus timetable outside the hostel. Only 1 bus an hour now to the hostel, but you can get a bus to the Etale lift office or close to the Jument lift and walk up to the hostel.

Another great stay at the Auberge de Jeunesse, La Clusaz. Excellent location, Close to the lifts and ski shop Warm, comfortable, good food and great staff

Very friendly staff. We arrived quite late and the chef still haad foof for us.

Limited facilities- then again it is a youth hostel so make sure to check what is available in the rooms before you book.
