It would have been a 10/10 for us but the bathroom set up could be improved (see further details below): + All staff (from reception to bar to spa) were extremely kind, lovely and helpful. They really made a difference! We felt so welcomed and at home <3 + We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast - ample selection. + Tea time each day was a bonus and super nice touch, one we loved! + Our first room had a balcony with a view, which we absolutely love spending time on. + In-house spa, pool and massage team. + Size and layout of room was great. We were on a cycle trip and had enough wardrobe and entrance space to lay out of stuff. There was also a a good size desk, if one needed to work, there is there a possibility. + There was a secure and proper bicycle storage area, which we really appreciate. Our car broke down during our trip and we are so grateful for the help and kindness of the hotel staff. Once again, thank you everyone for your help during this stressful time. We hope to be returning soon!

We really enjoyed our stay and none of the below would stop us from returning. - Bathroom design could be improved: (i) the glass panel could use another 5-10 cm of length to avoid water from splashing out each time we took a shower. I know a shower curtain is not as stylish but it would have been more practical ;) (ii) Sink could also be deeper. - Spa area could be improved: (i) Sauna is in the same area of the pool, which means it could get quite noisy. (ii) There is only 1 shower - sometimes there is a Q when Sauna is busy. (iii) To get from the sauna to relaxation/quiet area, one has to walk across the main Spa reception area each time (iv) there is no lounge chair in the relaxation/quiet area. - There could be a light above the full length mirror.

Loved the hotel, was very relaxing, smart, convenient, well located and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The hotel breakfast was excellent. Also really liked how the team put on afternoon tea everyday as a treat. The spa was relaxing and a good addition. The ski shop underneath made skiing everyday really easy and the shuttle from the hotel was also great. Would definitely like to stay again. Had a very stress free experience.

The rooms were a little hot for late March (23 degrees) and we had to open the balcony door at night to cool down which worried me a bit. The spa could do with a jacuzzi or hot pool as the swimming pool isnt big enough to swim but also was too cold to relax in.

Brilliant level of hospitality without being overbearing. The staff were always quick to offer assistance and find ways to help. Having the spa, ski rental and ski passes on reception all within the same place made the trip so much more relaxing. The only things we would comment on was the quality of the shower being a bit underwhelming and the soundproofing of rooms was a bit limited in some cases - for example we had a noisey family upstairs and the floor was loud (obviously that’s not all the responsibility of the hotel)

This hotel is superb, the location is perfect, breakfast was really really good, the staff where friendly, the hotel is clean, the rooms are a good size, there is fresh water available in the reception everyday (both still and sparkling) they offer a lift to the ski lift each morning.

There was nothing that I disliked about this hotel, it was superb from start to finish. If I had any little complaint (and this is so minor) there were not hooks in our room to hang ski coats on - but that is only a little thing.

Everything! The concierge team got amazing recommendations and helped us booking all our dinners, Maëlys understood our needs and together withe the rest of the staff made our stay great! Breakfast Everything you could need for a well balanced breakfast, fresh pastry and warm plates as well. Staff kind and mindful. Spa Relaxing, clean and comfortable! We got a few products from Nuxe recommended by the staff member at the spa reception.

If we had to say something, might be the shower orientation, was difficult to comfortably fit in.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable rooms. Well positioned in the town for jumping on the free ski bus, the stop is almost outside the ski room. Staff are great. We didn’t use the pool or spa this time but have before. Our third visit and will be back. The bar is lovely for the evening and lovely snack menu for those who don’t need to go out for dinner.

Ski shop/ski/boot room doesn’t open until 8:30 and we wanted to be out 15 mins before that one morning.

Breakfast was very good. Location slightly out of town (which we prefer as tends to be quieter) bonus was hotel shuttle dropped us off at the lifts every day. Super spa, staff, sparkling water on tap, sweets and overall a fab hotel!

Not many negative comments. Perhaps better lighting in the bedroom and bathroom, softer pillows, and the room was quite hot so we slept with the window slightly open

Lovely modern finish. Service was great and all staff members were friendly and helpful. I loved having the ski shop in the hotel and the fact that they organised ski passes for us- made it so easy! Was also lovely that they helped make dinner reservations for us prior to us coming. Helped us with ordering a taxi last minute as well when ours cancelled on us.

Whilst it was lovely to have a spa, having a hot tub rather than some of the other features would have been preferable. When we checked out there was nowhere we were able to change so meant having to reorganise out suitcase in the middle of the reception area which was a bit awkward.

The St-Alban Hotel and Spa is a very charming hotel with welcoming and friendly staff. Our room was extremely spacious and quiet with a nice view onto the mountains. The room was very clean, cosy and comfortable. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but has a lovely art deco styled bar that serves a fabulous breakfast, delicious complimentary afternoon tea and a great selection of cocktails and bar snacks in the evening. There is a great choice of restaurants in La Clusaz, and the hotel staff are happy to assist with any dinner reservations that may be required. There is a ski shop attached to the hotel which is very convenient if you need to hire any equipment, or if you just need to store your own equipment as well. The hotel spa is the perfect place to unwind and relax after a day on the slopes, and there are some great treatments on offer and a superb relaxation room for some quiet time. The hotel has a shuttle bus that can take guests into the village, but there is also a village ski bus that stops outside the hotel and runs frequently stopping in the village and at all the main ski lifts which was very handy. At the end of our stay the hotel staff kindly dropped us off in the shuttle bus at the bus station to continue our holiday in Lake Annecy. I highly recommend the St-Alban Hotel and Spa the staff were all so helpful and friendly and we will definitely be back for a another visit in the future.

Everything was great at this hotel, can't fault it at all.

The location of this hotel is superb, it is a 1 minute walk from restaurants, bars, bowling alley and the shuttle bus for the village. The hotel shuttle bus is so convenient and a fantastic service in the morning. The breakfast is also superb and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. The ski slopes in the area are magical, we couldn’t recommend this area and hotel more.
