Very nice new hotel, the rooms had a smart design and everything was working great in it, staff were excellent and i would like to single out the Arabic speaking lady at reception and Carla from the spa, pool and gym were great and spa was excellent, it's also across the street from the lake and public park, overall definitely one of the best places to stay in Annecy.

Restaurant Lona was a bit weak when we had dinner there, we didn't feel the food and service were up to standard, also a lack of options in the hotel bar makes dining in the hotel a bit difficult, the hotel is also about 25-30 minutes walk from the old town of Annecy and even though it's a lovely walk across the lake it might difficult for people who can't walk distances.

Room was great. Really good size and layout, fantastic shower and really comfy bed. Nice size balcony too. Reception staff all very and helpful. Wifi was good. Gym and pool were also really good. Location is wonderful for the lake, although a 25min walk into the old town.

Hold charge on your credit card when you check in is significantly more than the total cost of the stay which is a little unreasonable (150% of the cost of our stay). Never stayed in a hotel that has charged such a large amount compared to the total cost of your room for this before.

We booked Hotel Rivage at the last minute while driving toward our final destination in Italy—and we are so glad we did! Our stay exceeded expectations. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and impressively soundproof—we had the best sleep we’ve had in a long time. The breakfast was another highlight: fresh, varied, and with plenty of options to suit all tastes. The hotel's location right by the lake was perfect. It allowed us to enjoy a peaceful morning stroll before continuing our journey. We would definitely stay at Hotel Rivage again and are already looking forward to our next visit.

The location was great, just a few minutes away from the nice beach at the lake. The sunset was really nice from there. I took a cold bath in the lake and came back to the pool. It was ammmmazing. Also the swimming pool especially the sauna and the cold bath was great. My friend tried the sauna/cold bath for the first time and she also loved it so the cold bath was also not too cold for beginners. The pool area was a bit crowded on Saturday afternoon but in the morning it was not so occupied. The room was also comfortable and clean. Breakfast was also nice. You can have a nice view of mountains and the lake from the restaurant as well.

It's a bit far from the center to walk with heavy stuff so we took a cab. But if you are not carrying anything, it's a really nice walk along the lake to the center. Highly recommend.

We visited Rivage hotel as a family with two teenagers and a dog - we were all made to feel very welcome! Our rooms were spacious and comfortable each with a large balcony. The hotel's pool area is large and very relaxing with several jacuzzi and sauna facilities. We enjoyed sitting in the summer 'beach' area with deckchairs and sand, and the large comfortable bar area was great for watching the Olympics on a large screen. Our dog was welcomed in all areas and always offered a bowl of water which was very much appreciated in the hot weather. Excellent buffet for breakfast with a lot of choice. In particular there was delicious bread and locally made jam. There is secure parking on site for both cars and bikes, and the location is excellent for access to the lake just across the road and the town about 20 minutes walk along the shore. We will definitely go back for another stay!

Location - quite a long (albeit pleasant) walk into Annecy old town. The hotel bar should be a great feature of the hotel but the service was inattentive despite it not being busy. Similarly, we gave up on the restaurant one evening after waiting 30 mins to order (from our reservation time).

It is on the spendier side, but it really doesn't disappoint. This was a quick post-TMB trip, and the splurge on this property was very much welcome. The room was large and very nicely appointed. The pool/sauna area was great too, I needed a little recovery after hiking and it did the trick.

I think they were pumping some scents through the hotel, and they came across a little strong. Not a bad scent, just too much of it.

Beautiful and comfortable large room, with a great bed and nice view on the lake. The location so close to the lake is amazing, you can walk in 25 mins to the city centre of Annecy. The breakfast buffet was great, a lot of choice. The staff did everything to make us feel welcome. The Nuxe Spa was great. Luckily we booked our massages 6 weeks in advance as it was already then nearly fully booked.

The Wellness area is not in line with the rest of the hotel standards. The sauna and hammam are not hot enough, there is air currents everywhere and everything is wet: we got too cold. The pool is great for families. The hotel has a strong room perfume: a good smell, but rather strong. The elevators make a dingdong noise that you can hear inside the rooms (and we were not very close to the elevators). All of those are minor criticisms that could elevate the hotel to a higher standard, more in line with the price.

It is a new property (2021). Very well equipped, designed, and finished. Great hospitable staff. Away from the noise and hustle of downtown, but also a disadvantage. Depends on your preference. Not your typical French village hotel. Loved the place! Free refillable water, amazing indoor pool, and Hugo and Justine were just great.

Parking charge. I was surprised to discover that the parking just right behind the paid hotel parking is FREE public parking! That is a disappointment. I feel a bit taken advantage of, in spite of the small cost. Breakfast is great, but not having hot fresh eggs (omelet, etc) is not what you expect from such grand and 5 star hotel. There was no option to order eggs, only take from the “not very appealing” buffet ready eggs.

Clean and because the hotel is only 2 years old modern working bathroom etc fittings. Friendly helpful staff. Nice balcony. They provide a handy water carry bottle which you can replenish at a water machine on any floor of the hotel. Good parking facilities. Good location opposite the lake

The hotel has no soul and the breakfast buffet is a bit canteen like. There is no proper sunbed area to relax other than some old style deckchairs to the front of the hotel. They have tried to create a pseudo beach at the front of the hotel-very tacky. They only have bath tubs in their suites all normal rooms are shower only.
