The room overlooking the pool and the lake was great and the large terrasse was also great. Superbe view ! Very calm area yet walking distance into the old town.

We were very dispappointed by the spa area, being used to very confortable spas in Belgium. We only went once whereas we had intended to go every day. Very small sauna with no cold shower or cold bassin upon exit. Changing rooms and showers are very small. The fat boys are not comfortabe at all. But the view on the lake was great.

We were lucky to get a massive upgrade to a beautiful room with a terrace and a big bathroom on the lake side!!!!! So nice. Gorgeous views of the lake. Also the room had aircon easy to use and was so quiet. The staff were soooo lovely every single one. The food was nice too. Nice inside decor for the whole hotel.

I didn’t like the spa it had a rickety ladder into the inside pool, the outside pool was still covered. The floor was extremely slippery and I found getting off the day beds so hard my daughter had to help. It was a very small spa but were charging 20euros per person per hour including for children. It’s a shame because the hotel was amazing. The staff were lovely though and went out of their way to accommodate our needs.

Beautiful resort! Property and area is very nice and natural. We walked from the train station, which took about 30 minutes. Is not close to downtown if that is what you are hoping for. Staff were very kind upon arrival and upgraded our room. Room had a beautiful view overlooking the lake. Was stunning! Bed was comfortable! Robe and slippers were available in the room. Room had a safe as well. The spa was very nice! The sauna was wonderful and the shower with different settings was unique. The pool in that space was not very warm, but had numerous sets of powerful jets. Was supposed to do an ice thing, but we didn’t understand how. Outdoor pool space was very nice but we didn’t go in as it was cold outside!

Bathroom was very tiny and the ceiling was very short. Thankfully we are shorter people. Hard to shower in the small shower! Ordered 2 coffees from the lobby bar and they were made using the same “pod” system in the room (which are free) and were charged 12 Euros! Couldn’t believe it.

The location decor of rooms and public areas were gorgeous! The ground to well well kept and had fantastic view of the lake.

We booked two ‘privilege’ rooms to guarantee views of the lake. The rooms we were given (I explained this was for a family special occasion ) didn’t look much like the Booking.com photos. The view was spoilt by the roof of the restaurant. Also the view from the bedroom was obscured by the balcony wall and outdoor furniture - both of which could do with some refurbishment.

Relaxing atmosphere, elegant, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds (especially pillows!) Loved to relax in the spa—had it to ourselves. The big patio off the dining room was delightful! Cedric makes the best Old-Fashions ever.

We had a large patio/porch attached to the room (121) with a partial view of the lake, however there was some kind of exhaust chimney above the patio that made a loud noise and was always on. Couldn’t sit and relax on the patio. Also, we would have preferred that the toilet and bath were in the same room. In regard to the spa, you could not bring plastic cups of water in with you. Why? Lounges were very uncomfortable.

We were given a beautiful room with a stunning view of the lake. The room was a really comfortable size, modern, well decorated and the view of the lake is astonishing. Shower was excellent - powerful; the room also has a bath which is increasingly rare. I was not expecting the hotel to offer a room as good as this, and was very pleasantly surprised. Downstairs the bar area is warm and comfortable. Breakfast is superb.

Weaknesses: No gym at the hotel - one is available but a 20 minutes drive away (I think this is a mistake). At the time we visited the spa and inside pool was closed. Dinner was lacking any real atmosphere.

The hotel was perfect .. breakfast was Amazing! The hotel staff outdid themselves with their exceptional service! Sitting on the terrace with beer in hand looking at a million dollar view .. priceless 😜

We didn’t expect the climb through the woods down the hill to get to town, but we did it .. and we’re both 77 years old ! After walking all day around town, the climb back up to the hotel was challenging. Of course, we could have taken a taxi. We laugh about it now.

Beautiful room with large patio overlooking the lake. The patio had armchairs and separate table with chairs and plenty space to enjoy the outside air. The wardrobe was heated which was great for drying swimsuits after using the hotel’s spa- which was very relaxing (additional fee) Small fridge in room and a jacuzzi bathroom . We dined in the hotel and the meal was delicious. Thankyou

A beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food in the evening was really lovely (we didn’t try the other, Michelin star restaurant).

Breakfast was very ordinary and very expensive ie €25 each for a really ordinary hotel breakfast that you can get anywhere for half the price.
