Easy access to Annecy and the lake. Fantastic buffet breakfast. All staff friendly and helpful and dog friendly. Air con very welcome in the extreme heat. On site cafe and bakery very convenient for coffee and snacks.

Busy road between hotel and lake and limited parking on site . Lots of building works going on around the hotel. Small rooms.

Comfortable bed, good quality linen, very well appointed room (lots of plug sockets, coffee machine, kettle, safe etc.) There are some really nice design features in the rooms and around the hotel generally. Breakfast was excellent but there was an extra charge for omelettes etc. The pool was a bonus.

Although the room was well equipped, I was disappointed that only cardboard cups were provided. This seemed to me to be cheap in contrast to the quality of everything else. Also, the wardrobe space is very limited, ok for a few days but as we were at the end of a 14 day trip, we had more luggage than could be accommodated. I was a little put off by the extra cost for some of the breakfast elements when the price was already quite high.

The location is perfect. Just a very short walk from the old town and with parking, so easy to get out around the lake. The reception staff were very helpful and check in and out and we were able to use the pool post check out, so made the most of our last afternoon before flight. The bar is lovely, great view across the lake and nice drinks - perfect for pre-dinner drinks. The breakfast was plentiful and lovely to sit on the terrace again with the great view. We will return one day and are recommending it to friends.

Location was superb as a base for exploring Lake Annecy and the historic old town (walking distance). Hotel is modern is nicely designed.

There was a constant smell of food (grease), probably from the bakery or the kitchen, in the lobby and in the classic room which we booked so we had to change room. Pool is small and to get there, you have to walk past the bar which is open to the public. Although the hotel is new, the wear and tear is obvious (bathroom door couldn't close in the first room we were checked into). Housekeeping could do a better job - there were spiderwebs in the corner of the second room we were checked into but as we had already requested the room change once, we didn't raise the issue with the hotel.

Location was great and the staff excellent. On site bakery was terrific and food was good, although there was a serious (potential major problem) issue one evening with our meal which was quickly dealt with! Very clean and spacious.

Ok, a 4 star hotel which provide paper cups in the room is a tad strange! If you take away the location/view and think of an upgraded Holiday Inn then your on the right tracks. Its the pool (small) which gives it that 4* rating.

The location was excellent - close to the old town and also a really lovely view of the lake from Cedre and the restaurant. Spotlessly clean with nice decor. There was a lovely relaxed vibe. The staff were fantastic overall, a special thanks and acknowledgement to Jane on reception who organised an Uber for us after I'd a lot of hassle with my App - she also offered to pay - that's exceptional. Also to Luic in the restaurant, a lovely guy, providing great service and always a word or two for the guests.

Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, fabulous breads (bakery on site) but the selection of breakfast options was poor for a hotel of this standard. A few of the staff in Cedre were a disappointment by comparison to other staff - it was hard at times to order a drink/snack yet in most instances they were not busy - a pity!

Perfect location across from the lake. Recently renovated and very modern, great decor in both public rooms and bedrooms. We opted for a room with a balcony which I would definitely recommend. It was lovely to be able to sit out in the evenings and enjoy the warmth of the sun. The staff were very charming and nothing was too much trouble. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, which was a huge plus! We would return again in a heartbeat. Oh, I almost forgot to mention a couple of things! The outdoor pool was fabulous and the hotel restaurant is definitely worth making a reservation. We generally avoid Hotel restaurants but this was excellent all round. Great food and good value for money.

The staff were very friendly and helpful Location is great only a short walk from Annecy Town The hotel also has its own bike hire service which was really handy The rooms were clean and smart - prices for a lake view are considerably more expensive but we made do with a side view of the lake and tbh we only slept showered and changed in there as Annercy and the surrounding areas are so beautiful we didn’t want to miss any of it. However we did enjoy the restaurant, on site bakery and the outdoor roof bar where you could relax and take in the beauty of the lake and mountains whilst enjoying first class cocktails. There is also an outdoor pool which was lovely to sit around and relax with plenty of pool towels at hand

Perfect location for a short walk to the old town and lake front. The boulangerie is a good alternative to paying for a hotel breakfast or in town. Very helpful staff. Fantastic views from the front bedrooms, bar , restaurant and pool. It was lovely to have a pool to take a dip when returning from exploring.

Bedroom was very nice but smaller than usual . The hotel fronts the main road around the lake which gets very busy. You can't hear it from the bedroom (excellent soundproofing) but it is noticeable from the outside bar and pool. However it's easy to ignore and focus on the amazing view instead!
