We had an awesome stay at Chalet Alpen Valley. Waking up in the morning to a view of Mont-Blanc was breathtaking! Eating breakfast with the mountain views were a good way to start the day. Dinners were delicious, with a good variety to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend the hotel!

An excellent hotel offering arguably the finest view of Montblanc in the region (be sure to reserve a room with a Montblanc-facing view) and exceptional service. Both dinner and breakfast were delightful experiences. The spa, complete with a sauna and hammam, was impeccably clean and inviting; a thoughtful touch is the tea provided in the relaxation area. Most importantly, the true standout is the exceptional care shown by the staff. Our heartfelt thanks to Mme Gabriele (the director) and the reception managers, Emma and Hayette, for upholding outstanding hospitality standards and ensuring every guest feels truly valued.

The hotel is located right next to the ski slopes! There are also many eco trails there, which provide a great experience and pleasure to every tourist who wants their day to pass in nature, fresh air and the great views that open before you! The staff is very responsive and kind! The cleanliness is at a very high level! And the restaurant offers great cuisine and wines from all regions! We left very positively charged and when we have the opportunity we would visit this paradise again! We sincerely thank the entire staff!

The room and the beds was very comfortable and nicely decorated with wood everywhere. The breakfast was the best we had in our trip with absolutely excellent quality and delicious local products. The view from the restaurant to Mont Blanc was fantastic. The half board option, with a la carte dinner that includes 3-4 options for every course plus some extra dishes every day, was great value for money. We would have only wished that the dinner portions were a bit larger as we had to order extra dishes at an additional charge every day. The stuff was super friendly and helpful. The parking at the facility is limited (although we found a slot both days), but there seem to be many free options right next to the hotel as well. Many beautiful hiking trails start at the Combloux skiing resort parking just 3-4 drive from the hotel. Overall an excellent option to relax away of all the hustle and bustle of Chamonix while being next to all the main highlights of the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Everything was well-organized, and we felt truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. Great breakfast, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent service.

the rooms are quite small and the walls very thin – we could hear every sneeze, cough, and… other intimate sounds from the neighbors

Beautifully decorated hotel with professional and friendly staff, spotlessly clean throughout. Excellent food for both breakfast and dinner. Large sauna and steam rooms, also very clean. Ideal location a few minutes walk to the slopes and has amazing views of Mont Blanc.

There is nothing not to like! (A recommendation to the hotel would be to install hooks on the wall in the rooms for hanging outdoor clothing - especially if wet).

spacious and functional room (we had an apartment) with great view location is amazing both for ski facility and views!

restaurant service is very, very slow in the evenings, as personnel assignment seems inefficient - despite being many & very well intended they don't have fix table allocation, written notes get mixed up (orders come sub-optimal), etc the apartment could have 2 toilets

Gorgeous Hotel, small rooms but enough space for 2 people. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Small, but clean and functioning spa. Absolutely stunning view at the Mont-Blanc from the restaurant as well as from the hotel room we got from an upgrade they gave us. Dinner was delicious and plenty of choice. Breakfast was good.

The only downside is the location. You absolutely have to have a car in the summer, but it makes up for the view.

Everything. By far our best hotel in France. Everything was excellent. From dinner to breakfast. We had the Mont Blanc view from our room. The staff most especially Eliz and Fliorian went above and beyond to make our stay worthwhile. Meant to stay just a night but extended it as we loved it so much. Couldn’t understand why the review is below 9 on bookings

There is no swimming pool

Very cosy hotel with nice wooden interiors, the dinner was delicious, beds are comfy and refreshments in the room are available. I guess it is especially good for skiers and hikers as it is rather high uphills

there could be a better choice of non-gluten items at breakfast, although at dinner there was a good choice
