A lovely hotel in a stunning location. We loved the room which was spacious and had a balcony with a beautiful view of the church and the mountains. We enjoyed a delicious fondue for dinner. When I left my laptop behind after we left Marie-Caroline contacted me and carefully packaged it so I could arrange for it to be couriered to our next destination. I couldn’t have asked for better service. We will certainly stay again if we visit the region again.

Le Coin is a charming alpine hotel. Small and well run. It has nicely apportioned rooms (I have stayed in many of them). It is close to ski areas, ski bus, the village of Combloux (5 min walk) and offers free parking. The restaurant is great - book in advance! They also accept dogs. It is particularly good because there are rooms for 4.

Some of the rooms only have a bath with no real ability to shower. You can ask for a room with a shower. The staff are very nice.

We were a removal team of 3 guys with a 10m long truck, the place of the hotel was perfect for us considering the final residence of our client, it's a restaurant on sport and the fact we could park the truck on their parking easy peasy. The room was big enough for the 3 of us and our bags (but we stayed only 1 night), the breakfast was good, lot of choices.

No shower curtain in the bathroom (it's just the bathtub, not a real shower), so it's a bit a gymnastic to take a shower without putting water all over the bathroom. Wifi was slow in our room (room nb 3) and the room was kind of dark (by night I mean, the room lamps are there more for the ambiance I think) but it's a desk so it's still possible to work a bit with a laptop. So of course if you stay for holidays it doesn't matter a lot, but if you intend to do some office work, it does matter a bit ;)

Staff were very friendly. Food in the restaurant was good. The dining room was very cosy and decorated for Christmas, which made it feel special. Balcony was big ( we had room 5) Views of the mountains were fantastic Close to the centre of Combloux. Peaceful. We don't have a dog, but if you do, it is dog friendly. Homely.

A full height shower would have been good instead of being over the bath, but other rooms have different options. The room was cleaned, but the cups were missed every time ( minor thing)

Perfect location for a ski weekend, c1hr 10mins from Geneva Friday night, c1hr 30mins return on Sunday evening. It’s ideally placed for both Combloux skiing and Megeve - 5 min drive to the Princess Telecabine to whisk you up to Megeve, St Gervais slope and 5 mins from Combloux. Excellent restuarant, good breakfast and a couple of minutes walk into the village. Rooms cosy and comfortable for 2 nights.

Nothing not to like, just for awareness there’s no standup shower in room 4, it has bath with shower and there’s no excuse for being late on the slopes with church bells ringing in the morning.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful, our French is very basic and they were all accommodating of this, the property itself was clean and spacious with a lovely terrace overlooking the mountains, there is a bus directly outside that takes you to the ski resort in 5 minutes, we ate in the restaurant twice and both meals were very good, thank you for a wonderful stay Le Coin Savoyard team.

Amazing location, comfy rooms. Friendly staff. Lovely restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

Ancient hotel with historical atmosphere. Friendliness, helpfulness, and cheerfulness of all the hotel staff. Location close to the ski area and in walking distance from downtown Combloux. Free parking in front of the building. We had an excellent time. Dinner was good. Some dishes were of exceptionally high quality (Soupe a l'Ognion, La noix d'entrecôte Angus, fondant au chocolate, cafe gourmand).

I am sorry to write this, but to be honest, while certain dishes were extremely wonderful (see above), some of the others were not really our favorite (Lasagne végétarienne was burnt, then burger savoyard and fondue aux cepes - perhaps too strong a taste of the reblochon -, and also the profiteroles). One day we had tow wait for more than an hour for the next course (and I fell asleep while waiting), the next day the service was extremely fast.

Friendly, helpful staff. Pleasant room, comparatively spacious for the Alps. Nice comfortable bed. Excellent view and with wonderful walks from the door. Nice range of food on the dinner menu. Easy car parking.

Dinner wasn't very hot. Breakfast was basic though adequate.

We were in room 5 with just the loveliest view of the snow capped mountains from the window and out on the balcony. The room was great with all the wood , like being in your own log cabin. Room spotlessly clean and the bed was lush and comfortable. The host was a delight all the way through our stay, short as it was passing through from Italy heading to UK. Breakfast set you up for onward travel.

Only thing I can think of was it would have been nice to have more tea and coffee provided in room.
