Beautiful hotel in stunning location. Decor was quite dated but it was immaculate and well looked after. Staff were excellent and even provided a separate bed for our dog, which she absolutely loved sleeping on after a long day if bicycle touring. Good overnight lock-up for our bicycles. Amazing buffet breakfast with lots of unusual local items available to try.

Somewhat expensive but the level of service we received was commensurate with the price we paid - we didn't use the spa facilities which were included in the price though.

2nd time we have stayed here – which says it all really. When we reported the broken shower, we were moved into another room with no question. Also very prompt to make the aircon. So 12 out of ten for customer service! Our room was comfortable and well appointed with a fabulous view of the wonderful Romanesque abbey. Breakfast was pretty good but not outstanding, but served to us on a delightful terrace. Dinner at a neighbouring restaurant (attached to hotel?) was REALLY good. Overall a very good stay in a beautiful building with secure parking.

Comfortable, clean and friendly staff. Great breakfast. A lovely place to stay with your dog, great walks by the river. Good place to stop over through France. Great to have private parking, locked at night.

The beds are a little soft and dipped. We have stayed here many times hoping they might change the mattresses! However the beds are huge and the rooms a good size. If you need to go out with your dog between 11 pm and 7 am you have to find the night porter to let you out/in the back door.

Staff were excellent! everyone we talked to were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good! We booked to have massages on the premises, everything was easy to organise and very relaxing. Our room was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing. We booked into this hotel / arrived in Tournus as a stop on our way to somewhere else but we are so glad we did!

Such a lovely hotel.fabulous location . Comfortable room with kettle coffee machine robes etc ideal position for walking round the town. Two outside areas to relax in. Secure parking. Really nice breakfast of excellent quality. Dog friendly. Highly recommend this hotel

Disappointed that the bistro restaurant was shut tho reception booked us into another restaurant across the road

Quiet rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Despite it being so close to the road, we did not hear the traffic at all even though our room faced the front.

It was 99% excellent. The only (very minor) point was that the water pressure in the shower was quite low. Still good enough to get clean though.

This is an exceptional hotel and one we'll visit again when travelling through France. The reception was friendly and informative. Their restaurant was incredible. Breakfast was one of the very best. The coffee and hot chocolate were memorable. Tournus is beautifully small and the hotel is a mere one minute from the autoroute. Secure parking!

Everything was fantastic.

Traditional hotel in an atmospheric old building right in the heart of Tournus behind the abbey. We had a spacious room which although old fashioned in style was with all mid cons and was warm and comfortable.

The WC compartment was small and with a floor rail for the sliding door that was a painful trip hazard.

The Hotel was very clean, staff very polite and helpful and it was quiet and peaceful at night too. The location was brilliant and easy to find. The bed was extremely comfortable as I had spine operation just before coming to France and Italy Probably the best bed I’ve slept in.

I really enjoyed the kindness of the staff. The bed is really comfortable. The place is basically next to the main church of the city.

If I had to complain, it would be with the Hamman which was a really hot, and a bit small. But that's clearly a minor detail :)
