Well located on main road and immediately behind the ancient heart of the town. Very well equipped. We had a disability room at rear and it was very quiet. Quality of decor/fittings was good though design/coordination could have done with more thought. The bathroom looked beautiful with real marble tiling and sick new fittings, but the floor flooded when using the shower. Breakfast very good. Very good secure car park across the road (free). Staff very helpful. We ate out in the old town.

We couldn't find a switch to turn off the lobby light, in the end we killed the electricity by removing the key card, but then a sensor would turn the light on automatically when we went to the bathroom in the night. Maybe we missed the instructions!

Tournus is the perfect place to stop midway through France. A beautiful small town and only a few minutes from the motorway. This is a great hotel with friendly staff, an excellent restaurant and a wine list to suit all budgets. I would have loved to try the one which cost €3200 a bottle. Maybe in another life :-)

The only negative for me is quite a big one. If, like me, you do not like air conditioning and prefer the windows open, it is on a very busy road and opposite a high speed train line. It is very noisy. With the windows closed, the noise is greatly reduced to normal levels. If it is a problem for you, ask for a room at the back. If you are happy with the air conditioning and the windows closed there is no problem. Having made that negative point, it its an excellent hotel and will now be my preferred stop while driving through France.

Excellent hotel. Very good value for money. We booked a family room and it was perfect (spacious, clean, quiet and with all comforts needed). Very good breakfast featuring also homemade and local products. We stopped for one night on our way to our main destination. Next time, we’ll try the restaurant, which looks also very good and provides for a menu with typical regional meals.

It was very comfortable, and the excellent double glazing meant the room was perfectly tranquil despite the hotel’s position on the quite busy road thro’ Tournus. Moreover, as I arrived late the staff in Le Pub prepared a nice plateau of cheese & charcuterie, and a glass of wine - much appreciated 🙏

The design of the WC in my bathroom ( room in 2nd floor ? ) was ridiculous - the door opened the wrong way, and served very little purpose as was only part ‘saloon’ style door - a mad bit of design !

The hotel had really easy access to the motorway and created a lovely Arabic-style atmosphere in the decor and architecture of the lovely restaurant, which had tasty food at a reasonable price. We would definitely go again as it is a really pretty little town.

Fridge in the room? (my dog gas fresh food and our ice blocks had run out by then.)

Very comfortable large room with large bathroom Bar and restaurant were comfortable and reasonable value for money. Our rating took into account the value for money of this well kept classy hotel with easy access to the A6 Situated near the ancient buildings and narrow streets that make this part of france special.

The room was comfortable, quiet and spotless and the hotel had a general feel of quality about it. The staff were very helpful in getting our car securely parked and able to use their overnight EV charging. It just took our anxiety away from having to charge the following day. The restaurant was very good, we had to book but the hotel took care of this. I would thoroughly recommend

The effort made when the AC failed on one floor ! Free upgrade of bedroom where the AC was working ! For a vegetarian struggling in some places for veggie meals…. This Chef was amazing !!! We just had to ask and he provided a delicious meal.

it is very good value for money. Boon dinner at the restaurant, it’s delicious. There is free secure parking across the street. the rooms are quiet even on the main road, but not sure you I can open the window, so the air con is super good. the bar is really nice. there is no terrace for dinner but the roof opens. you can easily walk down to the village for shops and cafes. the reception staff are so friendly and accommodating.

We had a good overnight. We’re traveling by bicycle and arrived early. It was very hot and they let us wait in the lobby with AC. It was a long wait and we were surprised no flexibility in room readiness. Our room was spacious and we loved the huge bathtub. Had a great sleep on very comfortable bed.
