I recently had the pleasure of staying one night at Auberge Les Gorges. The charming inn is located in a peaceful small village and is surrounded by mountains with lots of nearby natural sights and beautiful views. The property was kindly able to accommodate for a late-night after-hours check in. I stayed in a comfortable and clean room that provided all the necessary amenities for a restful night's sleep. Additionally, I particularly admired the plants decorating the terrace, which made for a beautiful and relaxing environment for guests to enjoy during breakfast or other meals. Overall, I highly recommend Auberge Les Gorges to anyone looking for a charming and peaceful escape in a beautiful natural setting. The inn's strong character, lush greenery, and proximity to natural attractions make it a wonderful choice for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

There are some steps that you have to climb from the street/parking level in addition to the stairs to climb to arrive to your room - it was not a problem for my visit, but I'm not sure if it's mentioned in the listing description and a disclaimer for anyone who may have limited mobility.

We enjoyed our stay and loved to discover what this area offers to the visitors: amazing medieval villages and gorgeous natural landscapes! We also had a great breakfast at the Hotel and found a very convenient parking spot just in front of it

The location is in a idilic forest. It is not easy to find it in the night. The people that work here are really nice, smiling happy to you and offering always to help. We enjoy the fresh and scented air in the morning. In the night was chilly but the room is equipped with a radiator. The room was quit old but in good maintenance. If you come late for check in (as in our case) there is a code sent to you to open the entrance door. The french breakfast is too sweet for our taste but it was fresh and abundant. We liked the bread and the coffee. We are sorry we didn't have time to enjoy a dinner in the restaurant.

As I mention the french breakfast is not our favorite.

lovely family run hotel in a beautiful village in the South of France, very friendly owner, great rooms, secure motorcycle parking, excellent value and a perfect area to explore on motorcycles or on foot.

a little noisy on Saturday night from the bar next door if you were in the end room 104 I think? but it was only because we went to bed early.

It was a really nice place - modest amenities but clean & comfortable & taken care of. The garden / terrace is wonderful & the dinner options a charm.

Nothing to complain about - it’s no 4 star hotel but might feel more welcoming than many.

We were really sad that we couldn’t enjoy eating at the restaurant.. We should’ve double check before booking, we wouldn’t have stopped here otherwise. We never thought it would be closed a Monday during the high season. It’s selfish to says this but we were truly sad.

Really kind polite staff. The hotel is charming. Situated in a lovely spot with a bar only next door for evening drinks which is totally worth a visit also. Great location for visiting the surrounding areas.

Our only negative is the bed was too small

No air conditioning, no frige and sometimes no parking place available. But it was manageble

Traditional French Auberge in the old style with good value for money, great breakfast and excellent dinner.

In Summer slightly noisy and no air con but we stayed in October so it was fine

Staff were very polite and helpful and their English was better than my French! The room was very clean. The setting is exceptional with views across (and up) to Gourdon. Never felt rushed, we ate there for dinner and lunch the following day.
