Excellent location beside the slopes and ski lifts and also very central for restaurants etc. A very good breakfast also. Staff were quite friendly. A very pleasant lounge to sit in.

It was on the expensive side. I had paid 300 euros a night for a room for my son and I when I realised the room did not have a full bathroom. I contacted the hotel directly and paid another 300 euros to have a slightly larger room and bathroom. I felt this was a liitle too expensive for a v clean but nonetheless basic hotel room.

This place far exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind and I felt as if they genuinely cared about me and their guests and wanted my stay to be as good as possible. At one point I thought I may have to cancel the non-refundable trip however Magali so kindly adjusted my reservation and helped me find transport options even though a cancelled trip would be less work for her. They even upgraded my room at no extra cost. The place was amazing! Warm and cozy, had a lot of charm and the breakfast was lovely. It was so nice to come home to after a big day. I must admit I booked this place as the price was a cheaper than others in the area however there was nothing about this place that felt like it was a cheap or a budget option. I hope to stay again in the future.

Minor point, but the motion-sensitive lights in the bathroom meant they came on when going to the loo in the night (would have preferred staying in the dark) Also the motion-sensitive light in the dressing area appeared to be on a timer and didn’t come on during daylight hours.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and welcoming, with furnishings to make it authentic and homely. The breakfast was healthy and filling. The location was good, only about 400 meters from the slopes. The hotel was able to issue my lift pass!

There were plenty of stairs with no lift. There was no evening meal provided in the hotel.

Well located for alpine skiers. Comfortable room. Pleasing decor. Good beds, pillows and linens. Good little bathroom and shower. Very good breakfast in dining room with views of the mountains. Nice lounge space. Convenient ski room.

There is no forced air ventilation in this hotel — not even in the bathroom. To get fresh air I needed to open the balcony door. But this sometimes (depending on hour of the day and wind direction) allowed smoke into the room from a neighboring property's wood fire.

They had a common room where you could work, sit and chat, order from the bar, play games (chess board, various board games), etc. Breakfast was acceptable. Rooms were very spacious.

Very minor - no elevator. It means you have to lug all your bags up to the room when you arrive and down when you leave.

This looks to be a family owned hotel where you meet the same friendly faces every day. This hotel is also more of a classic Alp hotel which is a nice change from all the the fancy four and five star snob hotels which seem to dominate this town. The location is also fantastic.

pillows - i would prefer two longer pillows not square ones but that is just my preference - you get one long and one square. bath a bit tight but ok

This was the perfect place to stay whilst on our ski trip to Val D'isere. The staff were so lovely and the rooms were tidied each day. Breakfast was perfect before a days skiing. We were able to walk 2 mins to get to the main chairlift and walk out for dinner each night. Overall, great experience!

Lovely family hotel in the centre of the village. 300m from the main gondola or 150m to the free Val Bus stops. Really comfortable with parking on site.
