Excellent! Our 2nd year staying at Hotel Tsanteleina and our family of 4 enjoyed the warm welcome. Suite: We booked the same suite as our 2023 trip, and our children loved coming back to a familiar space. Pool: Our children enjoyed the pool, spa lux feel with warm temperatures to close out a day of skiing. Hospitality: We were warmly greeted by the staff with our suite being available earlier than expected! Luggage and ski equipment were taken upon arrival and stored directly to the ski lockers (a definite plus after an international flight traveling with equipment) Location: Great location to restaurants, shopping and skiing! Dining/Bar: Breakfast was a wide variety of food with nice views of the mountain. The bar was also a nice gathering spot, with excellent bartenders. Merci Beaucoup, Hotel Tsanteleina!

One of the older and posher hotels in Val, and pretty good fun. Helpful and pleasant staff. Small rooms (it's a French ski hotel), but comfortable. Very good spa. Welcoming bar. Good breakfast. More Francophone than Anglophone, a pleasant rarity in Val d'Isere. Valet parking.

Some selfish and noisy people were partying in the spa and the staff seemed powerless to stop these people ruining the experience for others. The food at dinner aimed high but achieved medium. The reception could do with more staff - I waited ten minutes at the front desk while one very polite and patient member of staff dealt with a rude and impossible customer who wished to know the precise dimensions of every room in the hotel.

Location is excellent, right in the square. Old traditional hotel with a modern spa feel. Room was cozy and well insulated from the cold and noise.

There is little to not like. Breakfast could have been a little more adventurous as it was the same every day. No choice other than what was provided. The bar is lovely and we have used it many times over the years but there was a problem with the beer pumps which didn’t get fixed all week so resorted to extortionately priced bottled beer.

We had the suite village view with a sleeping mezzanine which was perfect for two adults and one child, age ten. The room felt luxurious and cozy with the throws, carpet and wood walls. The location is excellent for access to the ski lifts (5 minutes walk) and all the restaurants in Val. I would recommend this hotel and will be back.

The toiletries were of low quality, in particular the shampoo and conditioner. No milk left in the room for Tea & Coffee. Breakfast - This is a beautiful room overlooking the snow; however, having chairs and tables stacked against the back wall was not very appealing. There was a lack of staff to clear away plates and to top up the food stations

Friendly staff, an enjoyable bar area and good spa and swimming pool. Good location- Very handy for walking to main ski lifts in Val D' Isere and shops and restaurants. Good boot room for ski equipment.

I was told on checking on arrival breakfast was included in the reservation, it wasn't but they only presented me with the breakfast bill on 4th morning. We came to a compromise. The room for £500+per night should have water and tea/coffee facilities, proper soap and more towels. Clearly cost cutting measures implemented since COVID times.

Hotel is fantastic; the staff are absolutely delightful, my wife enjoyed the spa and the location of the hotel is unbeatable in terms of its proximity to shopping and it's only a few minutes walk to the slopes. The hotel has a very nice and comfortable ski locker for the guests to use and our room looks like it was recently refurbished / updated and it has more storage and closet space than any other hotel room I've ever stayed in (we were a family of four).

For hotel. Breakfast was exemplary. Dinner was absolutely outstanding. Service was excellent.

Boot room was airless and smelly. Only one lift which was used by staff and guests so that waiting was usually necessary.
