We didn't expect too much from a beach-front 3-star hotel in a small fun-by-the-sea resort a 30 minute bus ride from Beziers, but Mira-Mar was great! Reception was friendly and very efficient. Our room was a good size, had a balcony overlooking the beach so we could sit out and watch the sun set, and the air-conditioning was superb (important with the temperature in the 30's outside). The bathroom had both bath and shower, and everything was spotless. Downstairs was a large bar, but we were undisturbed by noise and things in town quietened down by 11 anyway. There are a large number of restaurants within a minute's walk and the beach is large, sandy and very clean, as was the water. Oh, and that 30 minute bus ride from Beziers only costs 1 Euro.

Nothing to dislike at all.

Despite the poor weather the hotel's location made the stay very nice. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotels decor was really nice. The view from the room could not have been better and the whole place was so clean.

A coffee and tea making facility in the room would have been nice but overall we really enjoyed our stay there.

Perfect beachfront location – definitely book a room with a balcony, it’s worth it. We had a room with three proper beds (no sofa bed), which was ideal for our small family. The staff was friendly and attentive, even warning us about a morning tow-away zone we would have missed. We’d gladly stay again!

Our room overlooked the beach and was nicely air conditioned keeping the room very comfortable even with outside temperatures reaching to over 30 degrees C. Breakfast was good at 11 Euro per person per day. It was nice to be able to sit on the hotels terrace and watch the world go by.

Parking to load and unload the car was tricky even though there were some free temporary parking zones. The problem was that they were often being used.

The hotel was in the heart of Valras Plage and near all the shops and restaurants. Our view of the beach from our room balcony was stunning. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and always helped with our requests. The room was clean and comfortable and the beach views were stunning. We would definitely come here again!

Amazing location! Right in the middle of the action in town, right on the beach. So close to the main strips of restaurants, bars, shops and market. We paid a little more for a sea view and it was amazing to sit out on the balcony and see the beach and sea. The sunrise was beautiful too.

The view was brilliant from the balcony window as it faced the beach. It was a good place to watch the fireworks from with unimpeded view. It was very central to the resort with good restaurants very close at hand.

The fruit at breakfast mainly the peaches and apples were not of the best quality.

Sea front location and sea views from our balconied room. Excellent breakfast and waiter service. Very short walk to lots of excellent restaurants. Extremely helpful, pleasant staff

Parking is obviously difficult in these small towns but parking charges do not start until the middle of June.

Location. Perfect spot to stay, especially for my mum who has mobility issues. Balcony was really nice overlooking sea.

A little noisey in evening but the be expected given location. Would not put me off staying again.

The view from the two windows, the size of the room, the helpfulness from the staff especially at breakfast.
