This is an excellent small hotel with an outstanding restaurant. We have stayed there many times.

The parking arrangements, where one must park in the next-door train station, and where over-night stays are particularly expensive (the parking lot pricing is designed for commuters going into Grenoble) - and an arrangement with the parking operator to provide hotel over-night parking would add substantial additional value to staying at the hotel

We have stayed before in this lovely, elegant property with beautiful grounds. As before, our room was perfection and all the common areas are so comfortable with decor in keeping with the period architecture. The lady manager was simply the best - she made us so welcome, and throughout our stay made sure that everything was perfect. The food is fantastic - the best we had during our week in France - well done chef.

The only negative is that there is no parking at the hotel - you have to park in the public car park immediately adjacent to the hotel - it is only a two minute walk, but in the rain with bags would be a bit annoying.

We had a great time celebrating our mums 70th birthday any the hotel. The staff was so friendly and made a real difference. The food was very good and tasty. We liked that there were so many different guests such as families, birthday parties but also the young crowd was very welcome for drinks and catch ups. We liked that we could bring our dog. The shower was great and powerful and the black out curtains were super. The breakfast was very good with everything you need. We will be back. Thank you very much for the whole team. Good job.

Beautiful building, elegantly furnished. Comfortable bed, plenty of toiletries. Friendly staff. Delicious evening meal.

Surprisingly there were some niggling things that let the side down like no plug in the basin so you could see straight down the drain and could easily lose an earring or even your toothbrush! A part of the shower tap was missing which looked tacky. Only 1 robe in a room for 2. Needlessly complicated light switches and the aircon went off in the night and we couldn't get it back on so it was too hot.

Agreed that this is more a restaurant that has some rooms to stay overnight. But the room was nice, with very good and complete toiletries, WIFI and TV. Super quiet to sleep. We slept really well after our meal. We booked a dinner, and it was my husband birthday and they accommodated us in a nice romantic place by the window and then celebrated him at dessert. The breakfast was, as others say, tiny, but sufficient, with good quality products as well. It is located right next to the Chartreuse cellars, so that was very convenient. Although they have no parking, they allowed us to leave the car on a small side that they had. It stayed there during our whole stay. Staff were attentive and nice all along.

The bathroom was large but a bit strange. Definitely not the advertised one, so I was a bit disappointed I must say. I think it is best that pictures match well the room that you book so you know what to expect. Still layout was comfortable. Breakfast may require a bit more thought. At breakfast the only thing we did not like is that when we arrived it was almost empty (the hams and cheeses), so we grabbed some of the things that were there (sufficient but feeling a bit forced on the options). We continued and stayed talking a bit longer, just to see the server replacing with an entire new tray when no-one else was there already.

I thought Voiron itself was a great bustling town with great views of the imposing mountains in the background. The hotel is right in the town (but no parking). The hotel showed us which public car park to use near the hotel which was free. We had a nice spacious room, with very good facilities/extras/robes/tea & coffee. The meal in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced.

Our room was on the second floor and there was a lot of noise from the additional busy dining room on the first floor. The garden is lovely, but agree with other reviewers that it is not as big as the photos suggest. Once dinner had been set, we were not allowed to go back out into the Garden to have a drink and the bar is tiny (and also had a dining table set up in there). Breakfast was ok, not everything was out, so had to keep asking for things like hot water and milk and could probably do with a little more choice.

This must have been the sixth or seventh time we have stayed here. Once again we were not disappointed: beautiful big room with big comfortable bed, excellent food in the brasserie and lovely staff. Planning on staying here again in October. ;-) Check it out for yourself!

Fabulous English speaking staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant is worthy of Michelin ratings as was the service. One of life's lovely surprises. Bravo, keep up the great work. Would love to stay again next we travel to Annecy.

Wonderful old building renovated by the town council and sublet. Right by the train station, public parking nearby. More like a restaurant with rooms than a hotel, despite the traditional appearance. You enter straight off the street not via the formal garden in the photo. Nice evening meal, attentive waiters and helpful reception.

The room was large but chilly and had black mould growing down the wall in the corner by the window. The bathroom was huge but didn't get warm as a result, despite leaving the towel rail on at 30 degrees all evening. No parking, and the luggage drop off was tiny. Right on the main road through town.

Last minute booking on way to St Tropez. We had a beautiful large room overlooking the garden. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the evening was lovely. The room was extremely spacious with a very large bathroom. Parking was 1 minute away and was free for us as we only stayed overnight.
