Benoit the owner is really helpful and friendly. The pool area is really nicely done with plenty of greenery, with great views of the nearby mountains and it is easy to forget you are in a city hotel, even though the road is close by and can be heard. The breakfast was really tasty with a wide choice of good quality savoury and sweet items, and fruit. The freshly squeezed orange juice was a special treat. Check in was really quick, with no fuss. It is really accessible for both cars and public transport - bus stop for no C6 is 200m away which drops you at Oxford to get a tram into town coordinated within a few minutes of each other.

The bedrooms are a bit tight for space and only good for sleeping, not sitting around, but the public areas are nice to relax in, instead.

The staff were exceptional. I arrived after having my right wing mirror knocked off on my way down. I asked for their help. They rang a VW garage who said that they could order the part for me. They then found me a garage near to where I was staying to call at in the meantime to see if they could help. I am a wheelchair user and their help was brilliant. They helped me to my room with my things and explained how to access the areas around the pool etc. the hotel was easy to find. So quiet to sleep considering it’s next to the motorway. There was a good restaurant and a lovely little pool area as a sun trap. If I was coming this way again I would definitely stay here.

The room was comfortable and the shower was good. The food in the restaurant was surprisingly good and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner without having to get back in the car and drive to find somewhere. Very good value for money too.

The hotel is away from town and there were no other restaurants nearby so unless you have a car you are forced to eat in the restaurant- but this is very good so for a one night stay not an issue.

Location for an overnight stop is excellent. On-site Resturant is very good, staff very helpful. Pool is great. Car park is secure and not height restricted.
