Basic but bright, white and clean bedroom, good hairdryer. (USB points would have been good). My room had tall traditional windows and overlooked the street - there was a bit of noise from the bar opposite and, as often happens in Europe, an absolute din from the street sweepers and workmen but this is hardly the hotel’s fault but be mindful if you need a lot of sleep. My modern bathroom had been shoe-horned in along part of one wall and you had to side step along a 40cm narrow space into a barely 50cm square minuscule area where the shower head was. So small I had to step out to the basin to move my arms to wash myself or bend over. The staff is lovely and there is a really nice touch of free water and snacks throughout the day. On one morning the person on the desk had front desk and breakfast to do at the same time and many things ran out. I was surprised there wasn’t even any local bread on offer or hot food. The jams, like most places, were cheaper wholesale type and didn’t have any flavour. The croissants & pain au chocolat were good. Overall, a pleasant and welcoming hotel I would use again (but specify a room with a normal sized shower). Walkable into centre and all access to transport. Welcoming lounge area downstairs.

The breakfast was wonderfully delicious and varied. We appreciated the homemade snacks, fruits, and coffee machine available all day. The desk staff were charming, personable, and very helpful. They made us feel completely at home.

The shower in our room could have used a curtain to keep water from wetting the bathroom floor. And a few more hooks and shelves for toiletries, and to hang damp towels.

Characterful art deco hotel in a perfect spot with helpful friendly staff and an amazing breakfast spread, available from early, with high quality local well-selected ingredients. Clean, comfortable room. Complementary snacks and hot/cold drinks plus fruit and cake available all day in the lobby. 11/10!

The hotel offered all that I wish for when I'm on a business trip: good breakfast, comfortable bed, quiet room, central location, nice bathroom, and friendly staff. I'll go there again!

While the lobby and the rooms had a very nice and new look, the staircase was old and not pretty. If you're claustrophobic, then you're probably not going to want to take the elevator - it's very tight in there. These are just minor points I'm bringing up that didn't really bother me, but I have to write something here.

Breakfast menu was compact and there were options for every palate. All day long snack and drinks at the reception was very generous idea The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The room was extremely clean and fit for purpose for short trips. Perfect fit for solo travellers. Desk in the room let you make your online calls.

The hotel was right near the train station for super easy access. There is also a tram station near the hotel for access to the public transportation. Also the hotel smelled like Chartreuse. A local and unforgettable flavor. The breakfast was incredible. One of the best in France.

My room just had a view of the alley. There are many beautiful scenes to be scened in Grenoble and my room did not have one.

Great host, always available for questions on local life, hotspots and visit recommandations! The room was neat and what I expected, the breakfast was of great quality and with a nice array of choices. Very close to a tram stop, it was easy to get around.

The street can be noisy, but that is not of the hotel's responsibility

I booked this wonderful hotel as a stopover on my way home. I had everything I needed in the hotel room and the location was perfect for local cafes, bars, restaurants & shops. If I am ever passing this way again, I know where to stay. There is some free parking at the hotel as well and leaving my motorbike overnight was not an issue. The hotel staff are very helpful & any enquiry was happily dealt with. I highly recommend this hotel .

The concierges Thomas and Julien were incredibly friendly and helpful. The foyer is stylish and comfortable with a cute breakfast area. The property has a modern feel filled with: warmth, snacks, water, a beautiful view of the mountains from the room and security. Great location close to the station, highly rated restaurants, transport, La Bastille and more.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location, close to the train station and city center. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was quiet with a comfortable bed.

Unfortunately, my room was too small to use the yoga mat I had picked up downstairs. However, I really appreciate that the hotel provides these mats for guests.
