It's a very old building, but remarkably maintained. So, don't expect things you would find at more current hotels. Very good decor (a lot of Banksy art) and sufficiently sized rooms. The staff is exceptional, and the breakfast is a collection of delicious local foods.

Rooms and bathrooms are a little outdated. Elevator is tiny, as with many hotels of this age. Location is sufficient for travel to various locations in Grenoble, but a little dangerous at night.

Great value for the price paid. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location - the hotel is located right next to Grenoble railway station, making it a perfect choice for short-stay travelers. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast, priced at €9.90 per person, can be a good option if you're short on time in the morning. If I ever have a one-night stay in Grenoble, this place will be my first choice.

This is a great hotel located just yards from the train station in Grenoble. The hotel is friendly, clean and well situated for travellers and tourists. I was able to reach all parts of Grenoble by walking from the Hotel location. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities. There is a bar / cafe on the ground floor with outside tables for the good weather. The Hotel give you a code for the main door so you can come and go at night time, although there is also a night porter. All staff spoke English which was helpful although my French isn't too bad. I plan to revisit Grenoble and would book the same hotel . Lots of shops, convenience stores, museums, sights within easy walking distance. Grenoble is mainly flat and walking / exploring is easy.

Friendly staff, welcoming, clean Hotel in a safe area, close to all amenities. Spacious room with good view of square beside the Train station.

It was a lovely hotel and the bed was so comfortable the receptionist was so helpful and spoke excellent English it's location almost opposite the Grenoble station is ideal it's a great hotel and such friendly staff

Very good location, very close to train station. With car, you have to drive your vehicle to quite a spooky garage around the corner and park you car in a sort of box - looks like a cavern. You can lock the door of the box, your car will be 100%-ly safe! Do not park your car in front of the hotel, the strolling people in the night do not look very trustful ;=) At 04:30 am some drunk hooligans woke me up on the 3d floor. The banged against the room doors and had arguments. Then I heard strange noises as if somebody would be choked ... I looked outside and a guy was laying juts left of my door and seemed to sleep. I called Nr. 9 to get the reception, but nobody answered. So I called the hotel from my mobile. The night portier answered and promised to have look. Unfortunately he did not inform the hotel direction, they were very surprised in the morning and apologised several times. Very nice couple running the hotel!

Well, I would not walk around in the adjacent street in the night - but it's your choice, up to you. Otherwise, very recommandable. I hope, the southern rooms have A/C. I had none and had a free tropical night.

Good location, clean and calm. Nice interior design. Close to the railway station and the center. Tasty dining out in the zone.

Some staff spoke not enough English and were not aware of how parking ticket works. Also payment machine of the external parking is malfunctioning. So it is recommended to take videos of your inputting parking vouchers. The hotel receptionist was extremely helpful to solve the problem, But i guess they need evidence in case of such issues to sue the parking lot that steals their money.

Close to the train station and within walking distance of the supermarket and city center. Everything as expected from a Campanile hotel. Great extra service from the staff regarding my folding bike. Nice restaurant/terrace next to the hotel.

Good location, across from the train station so didn't have to walk very far with luggage, short walk to shops and cafés. Room had plenty of space, was clean, and staff was friendly.

The mattress wasn't the most comfortable. The hairdryer does not work, it turns on and makes noise but doesn't make any wind capable of drying hair. No fridge in the room, drinks/leftover food can only be put in the fridge at the lobby.

Renovated old building, located next to the central train station. At walking distance to MINATEC conference center and to all touristic activities in central Grenoble, Excellent, polite and very friendly and efficient staff. The room was cleaned every day. The bed was extra comfortable. I did not try the breakfast, but the free croissant at the reception tasted great :)

Location next to the rail and metro stations easy to find Comfortable clean private room. The "Bistrot Marsellus" next to the Hotel has excellent bar and bistrot.

The lift is still on the crazy one floor/customer at a time, left over from covid? Slight homeless people population in vicinity, they where law abiding and friendly!
