Location - it’s right next to the train station, it’s exactly what we’ve needed - a comfortable night sleep between late evening train and morning train 🙂 The staff was accommodating and friendly, the hotel itself is nice and clean, had a lot of original and nice details (e.g. colourful steps to the 2nd floor, funny hangers), also a really nice surprise - breakfast for free on the ground floor, we didn’t eat it as my fiancé has celiac desease and there were no gluten-free options, but coffee was really nice 🙂 Another nice and pleasant surprise - one sheet, which I always prefer 🙂

We stayed for a short time, just 1 night, didn’t notice anything negative between 11 pm and 7:30 am 🙂

We liked everything: the great location (very easily walkable with child and luggage from the railway station), the clean, comfortable room, the friendly, helpful staff, the comfortable beds, the excellent breakfast. In addition, we were very impressed by the stylish use of recycled items and materials in the hotel.

The only improvement we would suggest is offering a decaffeinated coffee option at breakfast,

Great location very near the station. There was a nice view from my room, though most places in Grenoble probably have such views! The shutters were effective at shutting out the light, the bed was very comfortable and the air-conditioning was effective, so I slept very well. At breakfast, one can drink/eat as much as one wants (tea, coffee, juice and a full continental breakfast selection), so this meal is very good value and sets one up nicely for a walk in the mountains, such as up to the Bastille, from where there are stupendous views over Grenoble. The bathroom was clean and everything worked fine. The lift was clean and efficient. Incidentally, Grenoble is worth visiting for the amazing wine shop, Le Vin des Alpes, alone. The 'caviste' who runs it - Eric Esnault - is amongst France's top wine experts, and he communicates his passion and knowledge in perfect English as well as French. You must not miss this place! Drop by for a convivial glass and a revelatory chat about wine.

The staff could perhaps have been a little bit more welcoming, though this is a minor grumble. I don't need my room to be cleaned/tidied every day, or for the towels to be replaced, but there was no simple way of communicating this (no notice to hang on the door handle), which is a little surprising for a place that seems to pride itself on sustainability. It would have been nice to have had maps of Grenoble available in the hotel, and perhaps a big one on display too.

The lift worked, no noise, we slept all night. Good location very close to the railway station. Breakfast was very good with a selection of meats, cheeses, cereal, fruit, juice, breads and coffee. The room had a comfortable bed.

Two minute-walk from the train station. Staff very friendly. They were even able to check me in early. Everything in the room worked fine. Explanations provided in the room for the peculiar colors of furniture: It's all recycled items. Don;t let that bother you, Everything is clean. or a quick trip or a short stay, this is a very good quality/price.

Really nice friendly staff. Good value breakfast with great coffee! They upgraded me when I asked for a quieter room. The location is really handy for the station. I've stayed here before and will do so again if I need to stay near Grenoble station.

Bathroom was v clean but would benefit from renovation.

Housekeeping in the morning woke us up at 8 so that they come and clean the room for the next arrival ...we check in Kate and 8 o'clock knock at the dire wasn't too pleasant

Excellent hotel: clean room, good breakfast, extremely friendly and helpful staff, parking space in the hotel garage, and close to the city on a street with good restaurants. An excellent choice for our short stay.

I really liked the hotel's decor with the concept of sustainability. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom has what is needed. The breakfast is pretty good. The location is very convenient, near the central gare of grenoble
