Honestly, for the price, I really can't complain. Central location in Papeete. Just a few minutes to walk to the ferry to Moorea, close to a lot of food, shopping and a beautiful park, plus the tourism office. The place was kept very clean. The breakfast included bread rolls, some cut orange slices, assorted jellies, butter and cheese slices, served between 5:30-8:30am. I felt the beds were comfortable. I appreciated they had a women's only room.

Wifi was spotty one day, the staff began the general cleaning process around 5:30-6am so not a great choice if you like to sleep in, the AC was not working in the women's room, the showers would benefit from a little shelf to hold toiletries, three of the six lockers in the women's room were broken.

Excellent location in the city, ferry terminal is 5min walk away, there are taxi stands and bus stops to get to the airport or around the island. Of course being in the city, all restaurants and shops and night life is also right next to you. AC was amazing, wifi as well.

There is a rule of no walking anywhere with shoes, which would be fine, if the floors were kept clean. You can just imagine going barefoot to the toilet when there is dirt and pee in the floor. Also no soap for handwashing in the shared toilets, which is insane, nor shower gel in the common showers. So lets say hygiene is not great here. Also there are quite many stairs to climb if that is an issue for you or you have heavy luggage. Also if your room (we stayed in private room) is located next to the common area with sofas, you will hear people chatting till early morning even if wearing ear plugs.

Conveniently located 5 minutes from the ferry. There are restaurants and bars around. I had a small private room with no window. The AC worked well and the bed had some very comfortable cotton bedsheets. Breakfast starts very early wich is great, I could eat before boarding the early ferry. Bring your soap and shampoing. None is provided. For one night, it worked for me. I would stay again.

Very thin walls, very very thin.....forget about privacy. Needs to work on cleaning the place more often and better.

They close at 8pm, but waited for my arrival a few minutes after 8pm. I liked the air conditioning in the room. They had lockers, so I could store my belongings safely. The internet worked decently.

The shower head didn't have any spot to attach it to, so I had to hold the shower head as I showered. The breakfast was basic: coffee, tea, milo, baguettes, jam, peanut butter, and sliced oranges. One of the bunkbeds squeaked when moving.

Well located for ferry to Mo'orea, bus stop to airport & Sunday market. Close to many restaurants, shops, park & waterfront walkway. Staff were welcoming & helpful with info for buses. Clean & comfortable. Hot showers. Solid WiFi. Plenty of common areas. Big kitchen. Great breakfast starts at 5:30 so could food before leaving for the airport/would be available before tours.

Enclosed building without natural light (though you'll likely spend more time out enjoying Tahiti!). Walls are thin so we could hear snoring from other rooms, but ear plugs would solve this. Expensive, but not for Tahiti/Papeete.

We had a private room with shared bathroom. The room was small with just a bed no window but had air-conditioning. The washrooms/showers were clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. In the morning they have complimentary bread, jams, orange slices, juice and coffee. There is a fridge to store your own food. Definitely a budget accommodation but worked fine for us as we had a late flight arrival and just needed a place to sleep for a few hours before catching a morning ferry to Moorea. The hostel is a 5-10 minute walk from the ferry dock which is the main reason we stayed here. There are also two ATMs close to the hostel if you need cash upon arrival.

The geographic location is great and close to everything.

When checking out, the room was vacated at 9:00 a.m., so that the staff could clean the room, the receptionist asked us to return the key and leave the premises, even though I was on video with someone... not a very nice way of doing things, especially when I'm not bothering anyone.

Friendly staff, convient location close to ferry terminal in centre of Papeete

Most travellers staying at hostel were lovely but some a little odd, had TV (in kitchen) on very high volume until 3am despite asking the guy to turn it down and close kitchen door to contain the noise. Also bought shopping (bagged with name and room number) and put in fridge. Next day all that remained were 2 eggs (out of 12) and no milk or other drinks!

Best thing was the location. Perfect if you don’t have your own mean of transport. Bus station 100m away, shops all around, including restaurants, market, chemist, ATMs, phone shops, etc. Ferry a few minutes away. All staff very friendly and available very long hours (check in at 11.30pm no problem!) Air con really quiet and efficient. Quite clean for a backpacker.

Breakfast is meant to be 5.30am to 8.30am. However by 7am not much is left. Only bread and jam (always the same and not the best). Never enough fruit or juice. Fridge could be cleaned a bit more often. Sometimes very noisy ( other guests being very loud and walls very thin).

Convenient location right in the center of town a 2-minute walk from the market, clean, friendly. A well supplied shared kitchen. Comfortable bed.

Private rooms are tiny, no soundproof, a tiny window faces the corridor, but surprisingly, everyone was respectful, it was very quiet, and a lack of fresh air was fully compensated by a well working air conditioner. Breakfast consists of loaves of bread, jelly, bananas, tea and coffee. If you get to the kitchen very early, you may even get fresh orange juice - we missed it. Out of 4 showers on our floor, only 1 was functioning well at our time.
