Mango lodge is located near the beach of Ghana Town which is generally quiet and peaceful. There isa nice open space with pool as you enter. The room I had was spacious and clean. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. The free breakfast was very nice too.

The Wi-Fi did not reach my room, the router is close to the gate, the furthest position away from the rooms, so not very useful if you need access from your room. A simple set of cheap Wi-Fi extenders would solve this issue. There were a pool looks nice, but didn’t have an operating filtration running, so was not as clean as you might want. There were a lot of mosquitoes on my first night, and no net had been put up. I made a requested and a new net was installed. I had booked a double bed, but ended up with twin beds pushed together. This is not ideal for those who think it might matter. The location maybe a bit less convenient for those without their own transportation, as it is quite far to other places of interest.

Mango Lodge is a lovely little place just off the Coastal Road to Tanji ..so easy to find. It is a gated lodge so i felt secure at all times as i was traveling alone. The staff were friendly and helpful with local knowledge. I had a delicious breakfast everyday and lunch/dinner available if needed. Its a short walk to local shops and a new supermarket on the junction. There is beach access across the road. The bed was so comfy I slept best in months. With sun loungers and a lovely pool It was a very relaxing week !! I will definitely be returning ☺

Mohammed was an incredible host. He went above and beyond. Very welcoming 😁. The rooms are nicer than the Senegambia and very clean. The breakfast was delicious. It's an intimate place which I like. Away from the hustle and bustle. Great value for money. Highly recommend

Nothing to not like about the place. It was paradise

The host was on point if their was to be an issue. It was solved within minutes. Alaji was 10 0ut of 10. The breakfast was tasty after he hired a new young lady and very clean, I came back, and my room was spotless, I'm grateful. Mohumad is a special kind of man.

A very friendly athosphere. The bed is comfortable and everything was clean. Pleasant outdoor areas and very welcoming hosts.

Very friendly and welcoming staff made us feel at home. Delicious Gambian food. It is very small, and we were staying there alone. Lovely pool and outdoor area. Large comfortable bed. A short walk from a nearly deserted beach.

Some written information about the area would’ve been helpful. There were very few mosquitoes, but nonetheless we would’ve appreciated a bed net that fits the bed.
