Very nice and well maintained territory, nice breakfast, clean pool and constantly cleaned. New items in the room- TV, bar fridge and air-con, bedding is nice and new. Staff is very friendly and accommodating 5 o’lock tea and sweets is included. Peacocks live in hotel, pond with ducks and fountains.

Not much to criticise as Gambia is low resource country with poor economy; in my room,35, curtains in shower and soft stools needs professional cleaning or upgrading to create better impression of stay. Water was available but pump is making noice all the time when tap is open. Small towels may not be provided. Tiles in the pool and around are dated in some places. Be aware: liquid soaps are not provided, only bar soap. Near the beach but does not have own beach territory or sunbeds. Local people outside hotel are constantly chatting to tourists, trying to make business on them, it’s difficult to walk on the street day and especially night. Bar outside hotel has loud music, once it was till 2am, on Friday, I complained to hotel manager, bar manager and police about this same morning

I like the hut style resort. It was nice to sit outside and enjoy the weather. The peacock will keep you company if you are quiet. The pathways inside the property make a nice walking trail.

The staff. Many of the staff would just sit around using the WiFi and looking so bored like there was nothing to do. The WiFi was terrible kept cutting on and off, so it’s not reliable if you need it for work or download. Charging 100 D for a liter of water is ridiculous, when juice is free at breakfast. Also I wouldn’t get the custom breakfast, just keep it simple cause they have the cook taking orders, cooking, setting up the breakfast table, and serving the food from 7-10. The food is subpar at the resort so don’t expect a restaurant quality meal. The meals are more like home cooked food and the dinning area smells like cooking oil.

So, because of the very good experience that I had had at the resort, I decided to extend my stay by another night and it was absolutely worth it. I really love the hut-like buildings 🛖, the paintings by the bed, and the blue pool 🏊‍♂️… The breakfast wasn’t great but there were a few options to get you going for the day. The mini-zoo is one of my favourite things here and the peacock 🦚 is one I cannot stop watching. I love how it’s a welcoming place for travelers so we could connect, bond and share the experience together. I hope to stay in this resort the next time I’m in the Gambia 🇬🇲

Well, I think the rooms could do well with a few more items such as - a small fridge, mugs, cutlery, electric kettle, cups in the bathroom, and maybe even an insecticide. Having these items in the room would have taken the experience to a whole new level.

The cozy, rather calm and quite extensive pool area with its surrounding deckchairs, bar and restaurant right next to it was a perfect place to relax. There were a few arranged activities every day in or by the pool lead by a very enthusiastic man. We participated in the arranged coconut bowling which was more fun than expected. All the staff members that we met were friendly, accomodating and spoke English quite well. The water pressure in the shower in the room was good enough. The resort was very close to the beach (although the resort was gated so you couldn't see the sea) and just a 15 min walk to the busy bar/restaurant area of Senegambia.

The bed was sunken and a bit hard for my taste. The food and drinks in the restaurant were a bit expensive.

clean, friendly staff, ok good variety breakfast, comfortable biggish room, beach was close, lots of different species of birds in the hotel premises

wasn’t able to leave the hotel without a ton of hustlers coming at you straight away. every day there was someone, sometimes straight outside the hotel front doors, saying they worked at the hotel and ‘don’t you remember me’ ‘only want to show you around’, unfortunately they also made you feel like you were being rude if you politely didn’t want or need their help. got scammed for money right outside the hotel. restaurants expensive in the area comprared to other streets. wifi bad everywhere except the reception.

The resort was amazing! We extended from 2 nights to 5 nights. The room was big and in African style with a cool wall-painting. The swimming pool, garden and the entire environment were lovely. We saw peacocks, rabbit, cats, ducks, etc. Breakfast was good and they changed the items slightly everyday. There were free activities for the guests to join. The water sport/aerobics was fun. The trainer was cool! All staff were nice and friendly in general. Great location.

The bed was too soft. On the checkout day the cleaning lady was pushy. She asked us twice about our check out time, and was sitting outside of our room with all the cleaning products from around 11am (check out time is 12nn). So, we felt a bit stress and not very welcomed. Our holiday mood was disturbed in the end.

We had a great stay here. Well located and excellent value for money. The staff were fantastic, especially Abubacarr who absolutely made our stay- his personal attention to detail was incredible and he went to lots of effort to make sure we were well looked after. Would recommend a stay here.

Nothing in particular- breakfast could have more variety but the staff and value for money more than made up for this. Plus there is an awesome bakery up the road (mamas bakery)

The staff was different. Some of them very good and nice, some of them not so perfect. Position of the acomodation is close to the beach - 220 m. It is about 1200 m to the main concentration of tourist restaurants and shops (Senegambia street - achievable by 600 m walk along the beach) but there are a few restaraunts also close to the resort. The beach is very nice and not crowded. Breakfast was varied but partly not typical european one. Some meals would be expected more for lunch (spaghetti, meat,...). Wifi had several not serious break outs but not the hotel´s fault I think. AC - OK.

Very used and smooth mattresses.
