we stayed at this place for one night, but should have booked for more since we liked the place and the mountain air did wonders for my sons asthma. the room equipment is not brand new, but since it is clean and comfy, it does not really matter. we explored the nature around the hotel (ate a lot of blueberries and wild strawberries) and visited the nearby zoo and the family park in Altenberg. i also recommend visiting the bobsleigh track at the end of the valley- it is very interesting to see. the hotel restaurant feels funky at first (you need to order via a kiosk) but the staff were super friendly and the food was great too. we'll consider this for a longer stay the next time an opportunity comes as the sauna and whirlpool looked tempting too.

Very clean, cosy place. Although stopped there for one night while travelling to Albania would recommend. Breakfast was great , staff super helpful and friendly. Very clean to highest standards!

Really nice rural location - friendly staff - good reataurant and bar on site. Good bicycle storage.

Nothing really - just the wifi code was written in a font where some letters/numbers (like small l's and 1's) were the same as each other, so I had to try a few combinations before getting it right - easy fix though.

Wifi was not working, but everything was exelent.

Sport atmosphere in the hotel, it hosted bobsleigh athletes in the past..there are nice photos of them. Tha staffs were Czech and were reallt friendly and helpful.

The digital check in, not really user friendly…no manual and explanation that the code we got was to get the key from the locked ‘keyboxes’ ….it took us a while to understand how it worked and it just checked us in to one (out of 3 rooms, that we ordered).And we chouldn’t get back to the check in page, therefore without the help of the person on the phone (luckily she was directly available) we could only get 1 key. Without an active cellphone and signal to access your email (and the qr code) you are useless..

On a positive note, the rooms looked exactly like the pictures shown on Booking.com, which was reassuring. Clean and as expected.

The self-service check-in and check-out system needs serious improvement. We lost around 30 minutes both during check-in and check-out, and were unable to complete the process either time. It was frustrating and time-consuming, and we had to seek help to proceed. The instructions provided were unclear and the system did not function properly — definitely something that needs to be fixed for future guests.
