Very spacious room, well renovated and with all expected amenities for a hotel. Big parking lot. The location is right next to a ski lift.

While the location is excellent for skiing literally out of the door, the area is not as great for walking on foot. The tiles in front of the entrance get really slippery with the snow on them. While there is a rubber path to walk to the entrance, it might be hard to see under the fresh snow and easy to miss.

It was very quiet when we arrived so we had to preorder breakfast, it was lovely as well as having a small buffet to choose from. The staff were very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, it also had a kettle which is a bonus in Germany.

Great breakfast, nice room, comfy bed, everything looks just as nice as in the pictures.

There was a loud private party in the front and later inside the hotel, so it was not the "mountain relaxation" I expected. Fortunately, the music and shouting stopped around 11 pm, but still, the evening was far from relaxing.

Breakfast was excellent, particularly the smoked salmon). I also like that they hired Ukrainian refugee staff that work extra hard.

Location was a bit far into Altenberg town and the sliding center.

Everything, we got a better room than booked, very nice staff, great food, we enjoyed sauna. Great stay, thank you!

We had the guest house (1 of 1) which was larger than expected. Very happy with the space inside the house. Gives room for up to 6 people (3 full bedrooms with beds, 2 rooms with 2 one person beds, 1 master bedroom with 1 two person bed. Kitchen has a 4 spot induction plate, oven and microwave. Big refridgerator, freezer with 3 drawers. Full size dishwasher. 2 bathrooms with shower in house. We had also breakfast in hotel, also gluten free bread is possible if asked for it.

Not really a problem, but points to improve: Kitchen tools not sufficient. 2 cooking pans, but one lit missing. Baking pan was not for induction plate, so we replaced this one we got from hotel. 5 mugs instead of 6. Kitchen table has only 4 seats. Table outside at house only 2 seats. Not a big issue as all facilities of hotel could be used, but in my opinion it should be there with/in the house
