Located in the middle of the country down a long winding road, this is the definition of a remote hotel. Well equipped with a superb external area for dining and having a drink which looks out over the forest and local wildlife. Food was exceptional and all staff went out of their way to assist me with my limited understanding of the language. Probably the best waiter I've ever come across who ensured we were well served throughout the evening. I had to change our booking whilst there due to a change of plans and the staff went out of there way to make the alterations simple. Can't fault it.

Beautiful and peaceful location a few hundred metres from the border. Simple and effective breakfast. Nice , well maintained garden. The rate we paid was very good value for the quality.

Spent one night at the hotel on the way to Prague. The hotel is cute and surrounded by beautiful green woods. A great place to relax. The staff is friendly. There is a restaurant on site quick is convenient as it is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but be sure to make a reservation to be able to get a spot. The hotel says that they accept dogs but did not specify that only some rooms are available for dogs. I could read this only after I booked. But I quickly called them and they were very friendly and found a suitable room.

Not the best value for the money. Quite expensive for the room we got. The room smelled like smoke (I imagine it used to be a smoking room back in the day). € 19 for the dog tax is quite high.

Location is near the Tjech border and surrounded with beautifull pine wood. Good walking in the neighboorhoud.

Water was not drinkable. In the reception they said not a word about this.

The location is fantastic if you want to be very near the cross country ski routes. We also liked the Czech waiter Milan who was taking really good care of us and helped us when we were trying to find some headache pills.

Well, I will not mention the very odd eclectic design of the common areas (Ikea stuffed animals in hallway for example) but the service (except Milan) was very poor. We asked for sauna (one of the reasons we booked this hotel) but we were told it has to be pre-booked and it is full for the whole weekend. The quality of the food - both dinner and breakfast is really not acceptable for the price you pay (except the pizza which was okay). I stay in hotels very often and I rarely complain but this stay felt like a "rip off" for the price. In the room you can hear your next door neighbours, you hear the people staying one floor up.. basically you hear everything... After breakfast we reached our room and the housekeeping was in the room. We asked the lady to leave it as is as we wanted to get changed and go outdoors but she told us to wait. So we had to wait in the hallway. On checkout the receptionists did not believe me that I prepaid on booking.com and we spend about 20 minutes before she found that I really pre.-paid... and we again were delayed with our outdoors activities which is the reason why we came and stayed here. Something should change in this hotel. There is potential but at the moment it really feels like a "rip off". And we actually felt sorry for the people who chose this hotel for a romantic getaway...

Nature. The restaurant have a fair offer with nice people they are working, breakfast fresh and tasty.

Unfair offer. The offer on booking is not correct. I selected a 4-star room with a double bed on the application. I drove 50 km to get to the location evening, and there I was offered for this price (70 euros) a capsule without bathroom, toilet (4 stars) to sleep in. I have nothing against the price policy of each merchant, but nowhere in the offer was the accommodation in the capsule mentioned, and moreover, there is no picture of this type of accommodation in the offer. Being an hour late, I had nothing to do, I had to pay the difference and end up sleeping for 100 euros in a "room". At this price I could stay at 4 (real) stars in Dresden. I think this is a hoax. Too bad for the landscape and other pleasant things that the location has.
