The hotel does not look bad at all. I would not even call it "retro". It is directly on the cross country trail.

They serve buffet dinner until 19:30. They will remove the meals exactly at 19:30 despite having full restaurant. We came at 19:00, we could barely finish the first round and felt under pressure.

The room is small but very comfortable. We had one where the sheep are below the window. The saune is available on Fri and Sat The swimming pool is open every day Both are free The breakfast was great 👍 There is also additional menu for kids: pancakes, sweet jelly or cake. We also had dinner included into price. Dinner is also a good choice and all food is not ft, so if one follows dietary restrictions, it will be just perfect. Both fish and meat available as well as salads and soups. There are lots of things to do, paths for tracking just behind, animals always here. We heard some sheep at night 😊 that was great like in a quiet village.

A real winter wonderland just 2 hours drive from Berlin. We got an upgrade to a nice room with a private sauna and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel seems to be loved by families with kids and dogs (it’s pet friendly). There are many trails for hiking and cross-country ski that start right near the hotel. There are also cute farm animals in and around the hotel :)

All inclusive deal is very good. Buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner all very good standard and choice. Czech food and staff. House beer was great. Breakfast and dinner were very busy. But the hard working and friendly staff could cope. Great location for cycling and hiking. Swimming pool was not busy and a nice size. Massive sauna. Free disco and a live band at the weekend. Organized trips to Prague and local brewery at extra cost. Plenty for kids to do. Check in staff were great and very helpful. All in all, a fun stay in well run busy hotel.

Some of fixture and fittings worn and need replacing. But this just added to the charm of the place for me. When I was there in off peak season most guests were late middle aged miserable Germans. Very off the beaten track.

Best place I have been to for long time. Very good service, you can get help with every matter. Amazing sauna, with cold showers outside. A huge one. Tasty breakfast and worth to be booked dinner. Very good choice of coffee including chocolate cappuccino <3 Swimming pool also OK. Nice view around and very good local beer.

Not that I didn't like, just a suggestion: billard sticks could be in better condition, and more that one billard set. But still I am extremely happy there was a billard at all.

We love this place, it has everything you need to relax. Staff is very friendly, rooms are a bit old-styled but nice and clean. The surrounding area is great for hikes

There could be more vegetarian options at the dinner that is not plain pasta or side salad

the location is very good and the fact that they have animals on the property is really nice. I enjoyed the walks around and seeing the 2 little ponies just made my day. they do have rabbits, hamsters, Guinea pigs and sheeps. The staff are very nice and polite and they made sure we have everything we needed. We lost the 1st night dinner (we had breakfast and dinner included in the rooms price) as we arrive late, but they did offer us some cold plate food which was delicious.

probably the mosquitoes and flies that were sooo many outside and we could not open our window. I assume was because of the hot weather.

Some general shabbiness as the hotel was built in the 1980s in a different historic context. Not everyone will appreciate 1980-styled disco shows on Fridays and Saturdays,
