+ comfortable bed + spaciousroom and bathroom + good restaurant with short menu (=fresh) + really nicely renovated

- parking on the street (but small village so supposing safe) - reception staff gave very little info about the place (I had to ask about breakfast & restaurant hours), nothing was said about the gym / Spa area... - check out can be done on the phone but you still have to go to reception with the key.. why? I would prefer bit more interaction vs "do it yourself" approach - especially the 1st time in the hotel.

Quiet and elegant yet casual location in a rural setting. Excellent restaurant with extreme care put in developing quality and variety of the food. Staff nice and polite very available to solve travel problems.

The food was excellent. Most of the staff were very helpful. The spa facilities were outstanding

One reception staff was quite rude and unhelpful. The choices on the restaurant menu were a bit small, especially when you stayed for more than a couple of days. One the whole it was a lovely stay.

excellent stay - comfortable bed, spacious room, great swimming room (with the end of the day light illuminating the water - fantastic), very good and diversified breakfast.

Everything was great, location, spa, food, size, staff, woods around, garden, furniture, mood…

Maybe in some single rooms too big wardrobe feels too tiny. No shoes for spa. Maybe more vegetarian menu would be nice and Haferbrei for breakfast.

I have a question for Booking.com... I am finding it very difficult to get in contact with you, so here goes!!! I paid Paulinen Hof Seminarhotel with cash to the amount of €128.70 on departure. On Monday 28/2/2022 the amount €129 was taken out of my bank account. So now I have paid for the room twice. Can you help.

I loved staying at the hotel and would love to go back there again, but am dissatisfied about the extra payment that was taken out of my account. So in the future I will book with the hotel not Booking. com.

A great piece of architecture, carefully restored. Great mix of historical features with modern comfort.
