The hotel is located on the bank of the beautiful Scheweriner Lake. You cannot get a better location than this place in that region. Bad Kleine HBF is about 1.4 km from the property. The major attractions in Mecklenburg (such as Hamburg, Schewerin, Lubeck, Wismar, Rostock etc.) are easily accessible by train if you do not want drive to those places. Parking facility is right in front of the property and there is always enough space for any type of vehicle. There are two large supermarkets within 1.2 km from the hotel. The owners of the hotel live next to the property itself. They were very helpful when I reached them on their number. The room was regularly cleaned. I liked the view of the lake from the balcony which is accessible with the room key. Overall, I had a pleasant experience staying at Seehotel Bad Kleinen.

You may ask for an extra blanket if you stay during winter.

Clean place, friendly personnel, quiet and decently equipped room. Nice terrace with a sea view. Easy access to scenic walking trails in the area.

Room was a bit more basic than it looked in the pictures. Location tricked me a bit, it looked like a very quick walk from the train station but it actually takes more like 17-20 minutes and involves passing through a bit of a shady underpass (not recommended if you're tall or during the night).

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, directly at the lake. We didn't have a lake facing view, but enjoyed the view from the terrace for dinner outside and the pizzas we had were good. The hotel was very reasonably priced. Room was big and baby bed was provided.

Bed was a bit small for two tall people. It was two pushed together singles. The shower was small too. One of the mattresses was very hard.

Great hotel to spend a few nights when en route in the area. The rooms are spacious, modern and light. They have a balcony and many rooms enjoy views. The wonderful lake is just down the path and there is a small beach and boardwalk in the public park.

We had to clear the room of a dozen or so spiders. Otherwise great place.

Adorable place with caring, lovely staff! We loved our stay here, our room was clean and comfi, we had really good quality sleep here. The location is just perfect, remote, right next to the lake, silent and beautiful! The towels were especially nice!

Tiny things only, such as we found the price of breakfast and dinner a bit overpriced and we would have enjoyed more variety of coffee (such as cappuccino or espresso). We travelled by train, and it was surprising that although the train station is just 500m away, a 1,5 km detour is needed, so prepare for a tiny bit longer walk with quite some stairs.

Nice location on Schwering sea. Very quiet place, and pleasent surroundings for walking, biking or sailing.

German style of services. Everything you need is available and of fair quality but you do not feel spoiled.

Very good location and environment. Room is ok and clean. The hotel terrace and balcony have very good view of lakes. Easy to walk to the lake and swimming. It’s really a nice and beautiful place for stay.

Breakfast is simple compared to the price. No bottle water in room. WiFi is too limited.

No restaurant in the evening... but next door there is one, the kitchen just closes very early so be attentive to that.
