We used the hotel as a base to visit Freiburg and it was perfect for this, being only a relative short walk to the railway station. As a really welcome bonus, we were given free tickets by the hotel to travel into Freiburg, which was great. Breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. The parking at the hotel is another great bonus.

Nothing. Everything was fine. Nothing to do with the hotel but we were flashed twice by speed cameras. Be aware that the speed limit in the town is only 30km/h almost everywhere and there are cameras everywhere which look very different to the ones that we have in France!

Beyond the excellent accommodations, what truly distinguished our stay was the exceptional hospitality of the owners. Their refined demeanor, evident education, and unwavering commitment to their guests created a truly welcoming atmosphere

Although now under new ownership it continues to be as good as it always was with the previous owner. Delightful young family now own and run. (My wife and I have stayed at Hotel Hofmann Zur Mühle many times over the last 15 years).

Everything good

Very cute hotel! You can walk to train station, main part of town, and spas. There is a balcony with a lovely view of the neighborhood. Rooms were a little on the small size, but had a refrigerator, ample storage, and clean, nice bedroom.

No air conditioning

It is really good hotel in a very quiet German town near the Swiss border. It is only a short drive from the A5 so it is an ideal place to stay if you are travelling onwards.

Good standard.big room. Nice garden. If you want to visit the beautyfull old city of freiburg tjis is an ideal place to stay. The receptionist helped us a lot to provide train tickets free of charge for the trip to freiburg. Saved us almost e 20.

E 115 without breakfast is a bit too expensive for a hotelroom without airconditioning

The location, the room, the breakfast, the kindness and the hospitality of the hotel owners. My next stay there will be with my wife.

Cozy room, very quiet, comfortable bed, great surroundings. Walking around the small town next morning was a pleasure. Highly recommend.

Most friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts who could not do too much for us. An excellent breakfast and they went out of their way to provide gluten free bread. We would recommends and use this hotel again. Many thanks to you both.

Very friendly staff who catered for our every need. Very good English spoken. Good location close to the Autobahn. Excellent breakfast. Close to good dog walking areas and a very short walk into the village centre.
