This hotel is really amazing. In the mountain, suddenly appears a Märchen Hotel. I can imagine this is the best place to escape from the daily life and to relax yourself. Unfortunately, I couldn’t enjoy “Kamin” because I arrived relatively late but this “Kamin” room looks very cozy. I had a dinner there and it tasted great. Breakfast is also fantastic. I stayed there for the business trip but I would love to stay there as private next time.

I woke up early in the morning because of the sound from the other room but maybe I am too sensitive for the sound.

I used to visit Jagdhof Glasshutte every summer and it was comforting to see after a couple of years absence that not much had changed. Quiet and romantic location, beautiful decor, swimming pool, superb breakfast. It's a place which one does not want to leave...

Unlike on previous stays, the bedding was rather modest, with just one big pillow, no blanket. Although the rate covered 1-3 guests just one side of the double bed had been prepared for me, the other side was empty and the whole bed seemed somewhat unwelcoming.

A fairytale hotel. Exceptional authenticity of the interior and exterior of this building. I have visited many modern hotels, but I have never seen such an atmosphere. The rooms are clean and spacious with a free mini bar and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was exceptional in a beautiful atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to try the food prepared by top chef Petar. If you are in this part of Germany this hotel is a must visit.

Sensational hotel, the drive is so picturesque, and the historic hotel spell-bound. The staff are infinitely helpful. The lobby / fireplace is enchanting, the rooms magical and the bar / restaurants out of a swiss / hallmark movie. Breakfast is an elaborate and elegant affair, I look forward to returning!

Great getaway. When you arrive you are greeted with a welcoming drink. The breakfast is excellent, the rooms are big and the staff is friendly. You can have a snack/baked goodies with some drinks at the fireplace. The minibar is free. All of the small personalised touches make it extra special.

Very friendly staff, exceptional breakfast area with a very good sortiment, nice staff at the restaurant too with very good and kind of creative food. We enjoyed having a drink at the awesome fireplace. Nice arrangement for some snacks throughout the afternoon. Quite location in the middle of the woods with direct possibilities for a hike. After which you can enjoy the inside pool and sauna or a relaxing massage.

Unfortunately there was some issue with the smoke detector which went on for no reason and a power short cut in the night, where we struggled to find a contact as the reception was empty. Furthermore we had quite loud neighbors in the room above for one night, which made sleep in the morning a bit hard.

The staff were exceptional - the chef translated the menu into English for us and helped with the gluten free options. The standard of food served was outstanding - well done Jagdhof Glashütte!

The service and ambience are exceptional. Modern comforts, including the spa, have been integrated very successfully within the traditional architecture.

Beautiful location in the forest, beautiful designed room and all the hotel, wonderful breakfast, new amazingly designed spa area, good pool. Very welcoming staff. Especially we would like to thank Laura in the reception and and Samanly from the breakfast room.

We were deeply disappointed with the meal we had once in the restaurant, we came with high expectations and the food was really below standard of such a restaurant. Be aware of two extra charges - 1) guests making reservation on booking.com should add 18 Euro per person for breakfast and that's fair, but if you have a cup of tea and a snack during afternoon tea time served for free to all other guests, you will be charged another 18 Euro each. 2) we asked for late check out of two hours and were kindly approved, later found out we where charged with 80 Euro without a notice, the charge was canceled after our complain.
