Breakfast was laid out beautifully with a good choice and variety of German/continental breakfast food. The kitchen closed at 8pm the previous night. I arrived 5 to 8pm but was still offered some food of my choice. It is visible from the menu and the interesting presentation that the chef/0wner is a connoisseur of good food. The name of the place and cookbooks by Jamie Oliver and other cookbooks, displayed on the window sill, gave a hint to their interest. The room was clean and tastefully furnished and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay.

As the rooms are on the first floor, I would have appreciated some offer of help with taking my suitcase upstairs as there is no lift and I am an older person.

Relatively basic but comfortable, handy location for train and town. Breakfast limited except they do have a box of Yorkshire Tea bags - wow - which is a super plus for the Brits.

Rooms on front can be a little noisy but I didn’t find it too bad.

Beautiful room, spacious and with a terrific shower. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and graciously spoke English. Great food at the onsite restaurant. Very handy to train station.

No elevator so had to take luggage up a few flights of stairs.

Breakfast was as expected, with fresh rolls and three kinds of jam. Location was the best -- only a few blocks from the train station, and easy walking distance to the rest of town. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious!

For the first day I had a comfortable easy chair, but the second and third days, it was replaced with a less comfortable chair.

Good breakfast in nice restaurant, large familyroom with two rooms / small balcony and nice staff. Feels homely

The bedsofa / extrabed is quite hard, the room has uneven, carpeted floor and the bathroom is a bit dated and small

Lovely old hotel, good basic breakfast. Beautiful location. Big room, clean.

No lift. 2 flights of stairs, needs refurbishing.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The property, although aging, has a cosy atmosphere. The room is very simply furnished and very clean.

Everything was excellent! I recommend that hotel!

Room was clean, staff was very nice and restaurant is great. I loved how close it is to the Sprudelhof.

Mattress on the bed in single room was really hard.
