Unfortunately we booked for a Sunday and when booking did not realise the restaurant was not open for evening meals. Also when we arrived no staff were on the premises, we had not had an email giving us the code to open a safe box on site to get our key. It was a shame that no instructions were put on the main door telling you what to do on a Sunday. Monday we had breakfast but you have to be out by 10.00 which is quite early, when we left no staff were around to book out and no instructions on where to put the card key. It would also be helpful on a Sunday if they put some recommendations for places locally to have an evening meal.

Very welcoming property in a lovely quiet area. Has a lovely outside space to drink beer, chat & relax before enjoying the Spa/sauna, that is nice and relaxing. The spa area has both 85° and 60° sauna, with a spacious relaxation area inside and outside. Free towels are available in the sauna area and if you wish a bathrobe, it can be requested at a small charge. The access to the sauna is included in the room night, it makes it a great value for money. The rooms have a balcony, that is a rare commodity in many hotels and for me it is a big plus. The hotel serves good honest food at a reasonable price. Breakfast is abundant and good. This property is a keeper :)

Maybe consider longer sauna hours. I do understand that probably the hour choice is related to the energy cost so I don't hold against it.

This was our 6th visit to Haus Hubertus which really says it all. The hotel is perfectly situated for a safe and convenient stopover on our regular road trips to mainland Europe. As always, the room was immaculately prepared and the evening dinner menu, although simple and traditional German fare, is extremely tasty. Breakfast, which was included, was substantial and very varied in choice. We will visit this outstanding hotel again for sure.

Location good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Evening meals were very good, but breakfast was excellent. If I didn't already have a favourite hotel in this area I would use this one all the time. Highly recommended

Lovely, clean hotel with a great restaurant. Lovely staff.

The extractor fans were particularly noisy and you could hear the ones from other rooms either side of yours. This kept us awake at night due to the next room not switching theirs off (they must have been deaf!). Otherwise a really lovely little hotel.

Everything, was an all round excellent stay, thank you all very, very much.. Great food, nice room, polite and respectful, happy staff, lovely food, just a wonderful stay that has helped make a wonderful memory...

Great location for an overnight stop from the motorway. Pretty countryside. We had a great dinner and a very good breakfast. Good beer!

It’s a shame it doesn’t have air conditioning in the rooms.

Very clean hotel, free parking and a good restaurant. Breakfast was also very good.

Only one small issue, one morning the room did not get made up, no idea why.

Super clean and spacious. Perfectly located on the Belgium/German border. Excellent restaurant with great menu and Good selection of draught quality beers. Excellent value for money and very friendly and helpful staff.

Rooms were very modern and clean with an excellent shower. The staff were very friendly and the free breakfast was excellent along with the great choice of evening food served in the restaurant or outside space.
