We were doing an Interrail trip, and after too many expensive, uncomfortable and dirty accommodations in not so nice places, this hotel was such a great surprise! The price really did not indicate how great it would be, extending also to the city and its location within it. We arrived quite late by train, and it took us less than an hour to find the place, check-in, leave our luggage, find a nearby restaurant and order food. Everyone in town, was very nice to us. The hotel had the nicest staff, which we could tell even from the messages we got from them after booking. We will certainly stay at Hotel Union more often, as it's in a great location between many great European destinations.

It's really difficult to find any dislikes in this hotel.

The lift might need to be upgraded. You might also want to include breakfast in the room rate.

The woman at the desk helped me print out train tickets. It was a difficult situation since I don’t speak German but she was most accommodating and patient. I was not hooked up to their internet which was the problem ( my fault) and it took several minutes to figure this out. We can tell you how wonderful she was in helping us work thru this difficult circumstance. I was so frustrated thinking we could not catch the train in the morning with no ticket . She was our angel and I must say I was in tears of joy when it all worked out. We are on an anniversary trip from the US. Thank you Miss.❤️

The shower/ tub door is a little difficult.

Beautiful hotel in Offenburg city center with lots of nice details, especially interesting and artistic photographs, room (no.42) well refreshed and equipped, warm wooden floor, very clean and spacious room with large bathroom, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff

No curtains to prevent the light to come in in the morning, no kettle to prepare coffee or tea in the morning, nevertheless highly recommended.

Perfect perfect perfect!!! The room with little balcony provided the view to the church and the shopping street of Offenburg. Strategic location with only 6 min walking to main train station. The room is modern and new. Everything looks clean and well-organized. The bathroom with bathtub is also clean and shiny. Bed and blanket are comfortable.

Around 7AM we could hear the bell from the church even with light window fully closed but it's not too bothering. Around 9AM they starts cleaning so it is noisy. On first night the cleaning lady was lovely just knocking the door once around 10AM asking if we need anything. However, on the check-out day, the cleaning lady made noise from cleaning the above room, trying to open our door couple of times and knocking still even after we informed her we would stay still until the check out at 11AM.

- Great host, I was getting late and the manager helped arranging an external safe for the key - Very close to the train station but at the same time it's situated in the historical center of the city - Incredibly soft cloud-like beds and pillows, I had a wonderful sleep - Blinds on the windows that helps with the sunlight in the morning - Different sorts of soap and shampoo that smelled heavenly - Complimentary bottles of water

The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The staff is exceptionally friendly and always willing to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is also ideally located, close to many attractions and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area. The serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings contribute to a truly relaxing experience. I will surely be there again, as it's not just a stay but an unforgettable experience. I like that they have free shampoo, soap and lotion 😍

Really close to the city center, warm and quiet room. Possibility to park the car very close. I really liked the malin+goetz bath wash. Not common but highly appreciated the mechanic shutters! The room was dark and we slept very well

An updated bath would be great, but the tub used as a shower worked as well.

Everything! Almost. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, room were clean, nice design. Location near the train station and Altstadt. We will definitely book this hotel again if we go back to offenburg or near cities.

No coffee/tea in the room, no slippers. But i guess you have to request for it.

I have stayed here in the past so I knew what to expect. Just a short walk from the trainstation and the town centre so it’s a good location. Nice spacey rooms and good bed and good bathroom. Easy check-in and friendly staff. Breakfast is basic but well worth the price.
